[update on 12/13/22] I stand by my review about the move; but this update is about the claim process. A couple of items arrived broken and one items was broken during the reassembly. I am ok with the broken glass items as I signed a waiver; however for the dresser leg that was damaged during the reassembly, the reason was that they did not do it right. JK did not compensate me saying that the type of wood compressed breaks a part when it is disassembled and reassembled. The whole shipment was insured for the total value and I was never warned about this; otherwise I would have asked them not to take the legs apart especially they are short legs like feet. I was not compensated for this damage. My move experience out of state was very smooth. Rob did a virtual walk through of the items over the phone and marked everything. He was clear about everything and there were things that he told me will be expensive to put in a crate like glass tables. So he made suggestion how to pack them myself. He really helped cut the cost down by trying different scenarios. The weight was very accurate. He was available to answer any questions quickly. The driver Jonathon was sharp on time on pick up day and he protected the house before loading anything. The driver was very professional and went over the inventory before loading. I did my own packing but they helped wrap and pack things that were not easy to pack. The items were delivered in one week my delivery window was 10 days. One of the things that I was quoted for was a shuttle service because they were not sure the trailer can get into the subdivision. But the driver came by earlier and managed to maneuver the trailer and brought it in with out having to move the stuff into a shuttle this was over $1000 in saving that I am supposed to be credited back. Also after they weighed the shipment the weight turned out lower than the quote, which lowered the cost. A couple of items arrived broken but I am going to file a claim and see what happens. Overall I was very satisfied with the service from the start to finish. JK might be more expensive but the experience is very good and they are very very professional. I would use them again.

This was a great experience from start to finish. The Move Manager, Pirouz was the best I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve moved a lot. He was efficient, careful and used his expertise to make sure all went well. He managed the other crew members with respect and appreciation. I never want to move again, :, but if i have to i would use JK Movers and request Pirouz as the Manager! Well done!

Recently we moved from northern Virginia to Utah. We went through the Sterling VA office. Our driver Pirouz Peter and his crew were very professional, hard working, friendly, do excellent job. From packing us up to delivery. Everything arrived at the time requested. Customer service was excellent. This was our 2nd long haul move with JK moving. I highly recommend this company.
