JL Beers is the best sports bar we've visited in Fargo! We arrived with a warm welcome, a cold "snow beer", and juicy burger. We also witnessed the Vikings Greatest Comeback in NFL history. We will return.

The MOST amazing HANDMADE potato chips with the dusting of your choice— it’s not even an option not to get these. a They are know for their burgers; the breakfast burger is especially droolingly good with a cooked egg on top. 3. If you don’t go here when given the chance you are selfishly robbing your hardworking stomach of well deserved happiness. a Your stomach NEEDS this— YOU need this! Only negative is I wish there was a LOCATION IN FLORIDA! LOL All jokes aside I swear I wish I could give 10 stars!!! This place is amazing the food is so fresh and good! Honestly how can putting peanut butter and spicy jelly on a burger taste so good? Come here and find out! You will not regret it! Chef Brian and server Heather were awesome too very friendly and welcoming. Did I mention how good the food is? Update 2022 APRIL 25TH AND THIS PLACE IS STILL KICKING HARD!!! I love the consistency and I was excited to come back and try my favorite and something new! These guys are the best hands down Adam was a great server friendly nd welcoming and Matt is. Selling our house, so had to leave for a showing. Can you think of anything better than fresh cut potato chips, a few beers and a sandwich at JL Beers to pass the time? We started with a Boulevard Chocolate Ale and an order of Buffalo BLU chips, followed by a Boulevard Bob's '47 Octoberfest with a JLapeño Chicken Sandwich see pictures. All of them were delicious and I'd highly recommend them all. The Chocolate Ale was light, smooth and a little sweet but that is covered in Untappd.... The Buffalo BLU Chips were crispy, yet had a good quantity of both hot sauce and blue cheese crumbles. The JLapeño Chicken Sandwich was also a perfect combination of juicy, spicy, fresh and tasty. It was a little messy to eat...but oh, so worth it! Service: 4 very good for a burger joint, but didn't put a cloth napkin on your lap Atmosphere: 4 top of the line for a burger place, but not a fancy restaurant with silverware Food: 5 for this type of food...loved the buns If you found this review helpful, please click on 'Like'.

Great chips, burgers, and beers. JL is the OG craft beer destination in Fargo, and I always make a point to visit when I'm back in town.

I was visiting friends in Fargo & heard good things about JL Beers, so decided to go. I'll most definitely be back next time I'm in Fargo. Excellent food & fast/friendly service!

Literally perfect burgers and a great beer selection. This location has a great little patio with a while wall of fire. An absolute must visit place in Fargo.

My husband and I tried going here as our first restaurant outing after I had given birth. They turned us away because we had our newborn baby with us, sleeping in his car seat. I would understand the “21+” logic if I had brought in my 18 year old brother but a newborn baby staying in their car seat?? I used to love J.L. But I guess I can’t come back for the next 21 years I would give 0 stars if i could just due to the complete stupidity of the policy and lack of family morals. I can go to Drekker and the Junkyard, both breweries who don’t even serve food, but can’t eat at a restaurant with my child? Ridiculous.

The food is amazing, but as a customer, I felt as though I could have been there or not. Only one person seemed to care. I personally gave him the tip. The others I left nothing. I will never go back to this JL Beers.

Really nice service, good prices, not horrible food, and a great selection of beers!
