This is the best and lowest cost wine shop with the most extensive wine collection I have ever encountered. All staff is amazingly friendly and they really know their wine! I am a forever their customer!

Jonathan was immensely helpful. My friend and I had different preferred sweetness levels, and he helped us choose proseccos that suited us. The store is laid out clearly and the wines are all described well. As always, checking out was friendly and quick.

Great selection, excellent prices, a fair amount of Argentinean Wine, as well as a few French, Italian, Spanish and some more, such as Chile, California, South Africa and Australia.

Love this place for fun & reasonably priced wines -- currently, the amusingly named Pinto Grigio SPASSO big bottle, floral flamingo label. Still loyal to our local liquor emporium for classic options, but nice to have an alternative.

$2 bottles of fairly decent wine in NYC? Hell yeah. TJ's Wine Shop is one of the only reasons I've considered getting a granny cart.

Love the variety of domestic and imported wines at affordable prices. Fully stocked also a cooler section for chilled wine, beer and champagne. A very helpful and knowledgeable staff. You're sure to find something new or your old favorites!

So much yes here! Remember bags full of wine bottles tend to be heavy. Enjoy the trek back.
