I feel like I stepped into a pub in the shire. When you step inside this establishment it is like you warped into some country side bar. Escaping the hustle and bustle of interstate and city. I had the El Diablo very good, however with that name I expected more kick. Fresh Hops was on tap and is a must try this time of year. This atmosphere is addictive I love all the McMenamins!!!
Cozy and peaceful atmosphere with the standard McMenamins fare and flare. I enjoyed the chocolate stout and Portland dip. Parking: Sizeable parkin lot
Funky name, seriously good times and food. Great local brews. Hard working and friendly staff.
We were there to pick up spent grain from this facility. We are farmers and use the grain to feed our cows and farm animals. As for McMenamins at any location I have had nothing but the best of times the beer is absolutely amazing. These people know what they're doing . I highly recommend Any McMenamins location. The atmosphere is great that people that work there are just absolutely the nicest in the world. They know how to brew a good beer the food is excellent take it from me this is the best in the business enjoy.
Great service, beers and Whiskeys. Man the pretzels were awesome too! Super soft and fluffy dough. Almost like a broiche texture. Whiskeys were great like I said!
It's difficult to find a good restaurant when traveling. We were fortunate to find this gem, just down the street from our hotel. Super busy but we were able to sit at the bar. Caesar salad with grilled salmon and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked and presented. The hummus starter could have been my main course! Everything is made in house... orange juice for mimosas is fresh squeezed, their coffee is custom roasted, craft beer and their own wine label. Amazing! Wish they were here
Really enjoyed this place. Had a really neat pub/Castle feel to it and the staff at the bar was very friendly. Great local brews to try! Also didn't feel commercial or chain rest. even though McMenamins is all over. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again!Food: 4/5
If only the food were good. The beer is delicious and the ambiance is solid. But the food is bad time after time. The last 3 things I've ordered have either been burned or flavorless. And it's not cheap, my flavorless sandwich was about $20. At this point I have to stop spending my money here.
Awesome place, consistently great food, but if im being honest it's WAY too dark in many seating areas. Definitely found myself having to hold the menu up to light peeking over a partition once haha. It's a cool rustic feel if you're into that though.Food: 5/5
My first experience at McMenamins and the atmosphere was great, laid back and fun. We only ordered dessert and warning to anyone who has the dessert with rum.....holy moly maybe they should cook it off a bit or not add as much!Food: 4/5
