John is a great barber. Besides getting your haircut done right, you are going to get a feeling that you in some kind of comedy club. Lot's of fun!

John is an amazing cutter I'm so.glad I found this barbershop in Bensonhurst.

This is hands down the best barbershop. As I write this on 9/2/2017 John has been operating in this sleepy Bensonhurst neighborhood for 24 years exactly. He's been a barber for 47 years total. Besides being incredibly qualified and skilled, he's a funny, salt of the earth guy. Back in the day barbershops were not just places where men got haircuts but social settings for sharing news, gossip and building community relationships. This place has all that and more. While John cuts your hair he entertains you with anecdotes and jokes, tells life stories and picks your brain. I've been coming here for years and don't intend to stop.

Johns barbershop is good to go if you want a nice fresh cut, I live in jersey and I still to come to Freddy Phil he is the deaf guy that works next to john. I've been coming to this guy for 4 years now and still going. Great environment and understands well on what type of cut you need and very precise.

Been getting my haircuts here since I was a kid. Best barbershop in Brooklyn. John and his professional staff give amazing haircuts and exactly what you ask for. Either you tell them or show a picture they will do exact. Will always recommend them.

Been coming to this barbershop for 15 years. Barbers come and go but the reason behind my loyality is because John treats all of his customers like family and not to mention the best haircuts no matter the style. Never dissapointed with the results.

I came this place several times, and each time noticed that all haircutting equipment is dirty, they literally don't clean it after previous customer. I am clean, and even a little bit squeamish person, so for me its disgusting. And last time this guy John literally ruined my haircut...Ok, I do understand sometimes sh*t happens, but the way he started explain his fault and even sort of accusing me that something wrong with my hair, was absolute nonsense!!! That drived me crazy! My hair will grow up, 20$ is not a big deal, but never again this place. This guy is unpolite, rude, too talky and definitely do not value customers. If you want to reach the same result, get fast cutted by dirty equipment, better go to any chinese barber shop, at least it 4 times cheaper.

They dont call him john master fade for nothing. Best barber in bensonhurst. Been going here 20 years. Hes still the best. Make sure u stop by and see him. And his worker is just as good. See either of them.

I've been coming to this same barber for near 15 years for a reason! Fast, clean, efficient and organized. If there's a wait don't fret just sit tight and relax the wait goes by fast. Highly recommended!
