Johnnie Walker RV

We found a fifth wheel in Utah for $10,000 less, so I call JW and spoke to the salesman who had helped us a couple weeks back when we were just browsing. He was able to get us the lower price. We decided to buy from JW for that reason. Our experience was positive for the most part. We had to wait for finance to help another customer in front of us which took an hour and a half. My patients were wearing thin and my tummy was growling. I was hangry. I wish they had more than one person working that department. Our salesman wasn’t at the location but checked on us to make sure we got everything we needed. He made sure that we would be next in line to complete our paperwork. The tech was very patient with us and was very thorough. He never rushed us at all. He even made sure our hitch was connected correctly as well. We received a couple hats and gadgets and they gave us a truck to borrow, we needed to eat lunch since it was taking so long. Other then our troubles with finance taking so long our experience was positive. I would recommend this business. It is my second time purchasing an RV from them.

Update: What had happened was... The Jayco wasn't tall enough for my husband so, we upgraded. Sten was phenomenal, as usual. Class was amazing with Chris at the front teaching us all the ins and outs of our Class A RV. Such a treat and again, highly recommended. . . Original review: The whole buying process is phenomenal!! This is our second time purchasing here and we will do it again, no question! Sten helped us find an amazing little Jayco, perfect size for my husband and I. We are so excited to load up and get started on all the adventures that wait for us. What puts Johnny Walker RV above the rest is their technician led classes. EVERYTHING you need to know, ALL the questions answered and some even answered twice. My husband and I are Army Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injuries that affect our memory; between us and the 36 minute video I recorded as Jody walked us through the camper and new breaking system, I think we are good to go. Thankfully Jody said to 'call anytime with questions', we may take him up on that. I really cannot praise Jody enough! He is so knowledgeable, I get why he teaches but he should be selling. Seriously, all the questions, some even twice and he never flinched. Just answered and made sure we understood. We are so grateful and highly recommend Johnny Walker RV, they definitely set the standard for customer care and experience.

Super Friendly and Extremely Professional folks!! Really made the process of purchasing a Motorhome as pleasant and easy as possible - and this was in spite of my having to be out of town for a couple of months... If you are interested in purchasing an RV, this IS the Only Dealer I would recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kevin was amazing to work with. He was very patient and helpful. He showed us over 30 travel trailers until we found the perfect one. He never rushed us and took his time. Jody, Michael, and Victor did a great job getting the travel trailer ready for us. Jody did a in-depth walkthrough with us before leaving with the RV. If I had any questions he was willing to answer. Definitely recommend going here if you are looking for a RV.

They have the worst service department. We needed our awning replaced On a unit we purchased brand new at another dealership, and we purchased the parts directly from the manufacturer of our unit and had it mailed directly to them. They claimed the first one was "bent" so the manufacturer sent over another one. When that one finally came in they put it on, and my dad went and picked up our RV. However, we didn't use it for 3 months but when we finally did, we noticed it was BENT. Now, of course Johnnie Walker did not take responsibility. I'm wondering if they installed the bent one and kept the good one to make money off of. I would not doubt it. 5 stars to the manufacturer for giving us a credit which equaled the cost of installation, it's more than they ever offered. They had to know the one they installed was bent, unless they didn't test it whatsoever, I'm not sure which scenario is worse. Now we should have checked it right after, and that is what is prompting me to write this review. now the lights on the roller do not work because the way they spliced the wires, so now we have to fix that. Oh, and also instead of properly installing the awning fabric they put a screw in the awning fabric instead of using the rod during installation, and the corner where the wiring of the led lights are, is coming out. Learn to do your job and take responsibility when your service department screws up, that's what separates you from the typical sleazy RV dealerships to one with trust and integrity. I will NEVER EVER take my RV here again and I will NEVER buy an RV from here, buyer beware, especially if you are considering purchasing a used unit here, who knows what they have done to it, if they can't even install an awning correctly. You have been warned!!

While everyone that works for Johnnie Walker was wonderful and our buying experience great, the travel trailer itself turned out to be a disaster. We bought the trailer because we moved across the country and wanted a place to sleep other than a hotel, as we have many animals. There’s a crack in one of the tires so we’re lucky we made it here without a flat, the side door kept flying open while driving so we had to tape it shut and hope the door didn’t open again, the awning collapsed and there was only a slight breeze when that happened, the two brittle skylights popped off while on the highway and I hope they didn’t hit someone else’s car, and we’ve done nothing on this 2 1/2 week adventure but worry about what’s going to fall apart next. Again, everyone that works there was amazing, helpful and nice, but we’re selling the trailer ASAP.

Today we picked up our Jay feather. Everyone at Johnny Walker was excellent ! This is our 5th camper that we purchased from them, and never considered purchasing from any other dealer. We are happy campers.

Super helpful parts department. I had a part for my furnace that I thought was broken and they tested it for me instead of just first selling a new part. Talked me through some troubleshooting I could do and I was able to fix the problem on my own.
