Johnson County Community College

I wish this was a 4 year institution because there isn't a better place to learn. The teachers really are great at their jobs and care about the students. I appreciate having their guidance to help correct some of the major transfer credit issues I had coming in from an out of state school.

JCCC has been a totally fabulous experience. Public Education was my focus as a parent, teacher and community member. Kansas City area has provided excellent educational resources such as JCCC. Teachers, staff, and students have all been very professional and respectful. Positive ATTITUDE and EFFORT are the rewards of positive communication and relationships.

This "college" is ridiculous. The "professors" are unprofessional and don't possess good teaching skills. They actually expect the student to already know what they want. The outside campus is somewhat up kept but the inside of the college is nasty. Financial Aid is a joke. If you have an outstanding balance on your student account you can't make payment arrangements let alone enroll in other courses. The workload is just a mess and unnecessarily over the top. The resources they offer are unhelpful especially the AAC and the Math Center. This "college" is overrated and if I could give it zero stars I would. The only thing this place is good for is the extracurricular programs they offer like Driver's Ed.

As a past student and employee of JCCC, I will always recommend this college to anyone seeking a educational or employment opportunity. The campus is BEAUTIFUL and the accommodations are some of the best. Faculty and staff are some of the best around (not that I'm biased!) I have to also admit, I attend multiple other 4-year colleges, and JCCC provided the greatest educational value in the area. Schedule a campus visit today and you won't be disappointed!
