Dr jonas performed hand surgery for arthritis in my thumb. Several years ago I had carpal tunnel and elbow surgery and was very pleased with results so I didn’t think twice about who to go to for this surgery . I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. He is a wonderful surgeon. Dr Jonas and his staff are great. Answered all my questions before and after the surgery and then throughout my recovery. I highly recommend.
Dr. Jonas is an amazing surgeon. He took his time explaining the procedure I needed, showed me the results of my MRI while he did so, answered all my questions and reassured me my wrist would be as good as new. I’m so pleased with the results. They are better than I expected. I highly recommend Dr. Glenn Jonas.
My husband had emergency surgery on his leg for compartment syndrome performed by Dr Jonas. He was prescribed a heavy dosage of pain killers which made him very nauseous. At his follow up appointment my husband mentioned that the pain killers he was given made him nauseous and asked for a lower dosage. Dr Jonas treated my husband as if he just wanted more pain killers because he was over-using them when in reality he just wanted something that was less strong as he couldn’t take the original dosage. He offered no advice and made notes on my husbands file that he only seemed interested in getting more pain meds to abuse.
My husband Jerry was Dr Jonas patient. His staff was awesome. Dr Jonas was awesome, took time with Jerry each visit and through the surgery. He monitored his re-hab to ensure his treatments were going right. Jerry and I both admired his care for his patients and his expertise. We highly recommend him and thankful he was Jerry's Dr.
Dr Jonas spent 5 minutes with my husband when he was in the hospital at Kennestone after a bad fall caused what they call the “Terrible Trio”. His tendons were all snapped around his elbow, his elbow was dislocated, and his elbow was fractured. He walks in, doesn’t introduce himself, then immediately grabs his arm and lifts it over his head. My screams in pain and Jonas acts like he is faking it or something! Then proceeds to come tell me that it’s not normal for someone to be that distraught over this injury. I’ll admit, my husband doesn’t do well with pain at all, but that was totally rediculous and poor bedside manner. They were pumping him full of pain killers but nothing worked and he didn’t get shut eye for almost 5 days straight. When they tried to schedule surgery with Jonas we immediately moved him to another hospital and Dr who treated us like gold. I highly recommend you go to Dr. Titleman instead. Jonas acted like my husband wanted drugs or something. I might add that he has no record at all and has never done any sort of drug in his life. Best decision I ever made was to find anDr. We were comfortable with. It’s taken me 2 years to write this post because we were so scarred by the whole experience. If you aren’t compassionate or want to help your patients through the process, maybe it’s time to retire.
I had made an appointment from a list of Drs based on my insurance, I had not read any reviews when I scheduled the appointment. When I did read the reviews, I called the office to cancel my appointment but since it was last minute, I changed my mind and decided to hope for the best. I am glad I went. Dr Jonas couldn't have been nicer. He pulled up his Dr stool looked at my issues and wouldn't leave until all my questions were answered after the xrays were taken. I can't speak about the poor reviews posted, but I had an excellent experience
If I was 75 minutes late for an appointment, they'd cancel it and bill me for a missed appointment. But I waited that long for the doctor and they expect me to be fine with that. My time is no less valuable than his! Even more, Dr. Jonas spent a whopping 3 minutes with me, total. Three minutes after waiting an eternity. He didn't listen to what I had to say, just wiggled my finger and said I needed physical therapy. Well, I could have figured that out at home! I broke my finger 2 months ago and removed the splint today, and it won't bend! They had no problem making me pay a copay, though I think they should have to pay me for the hour and fifteen minutes I waited. No explanation was offered, just a harried staff that was cold and indifferent. My advice, go somewhere else. I'm sure there are other doctors in the area who won't waste your day and will actually listen to you during the exam.
I walked in at 8 as a new patient and walked out with X-rays and fixed before 9. He gave me injections in my hands and reassured me it was not arthritis and it was tendinitis. I haven't been in any pain since I got the injections. He was polite and to the point. Although he didn't go in to great details like my anxiety would like, it's okay because he had other patients to tend to. I liked that I could hear him talk to his nurses and how polite he was to them and how they could laugh and ask how their weekend was too while looking at X-rays and waiting for records. Very good doctor. I will definitely be back
Very rushed again. I went in for elbow tendon pain. Jonas mentioned surgery without even pinpointing the problem or suggesting an MRI. No real diagnosis was given and he barely looked at my arm. Jonas didn't want listen to what I had to say.
The doctor was over an hour late then spent about 3 min hurriedly looking at my wrist. He lied about what exactly was going on and ended up costing me an extra 500$ by withholding information. This guy is arrogant and rude and not honest. I’ll never go back
