Dr. Szpiro is incredible. Not only did I get instant relief of my foot pain that I had for 7 months under another Physcians care, but she was so informing and took the time to go over my diagnose . It’s rare to find a doctor with both qualities . In my opinion she is just the best. Her staff was great as well . I would highly recommend her to anyone that is searching for top doctors in Podiatry. Thank you Dr. Szpiro
My entire experience from talking with Christian, the administrative assistant, to meeting Michael, the medical tech, and finally meeting Dr. Jordan's Szpiro was nothing short of amazing! Top notch professionalism and customer care. Dr. Szpiro was attentive, very easy to talk to, compassionate to my concerns, and best of all alleviated the throbbing pain I was experiencing from plantar fasciitis. I have received medical care from world-renowned providers in Boston for 40 years, while many have been great, Dr. Szpiro definitely set the bar for her bedside manner and comprehensive explanation of issues and treatment. I'm very thankful and highly recommend Dr. Szpiro and her staff.
I've had a great experience with Dr. Szpiro's office. From the first phone call making sure that I understand what was needed for a referral, to getting a prompt appointment. I was already a year into my foot pain and saw her for a second opinion. She acted fast on top of my prior treatments and I've seen improvement in a month.
I found this doctor from my insurance company because she is part of the network. I went to the foot doctor because I was experiencing sever foot pain during and after work to the point I could not walk at time. I am a warehouse worker for Amazon and I was working 10 hour shifts and developed some foot ailment. This is my 5 attempt to work with Podiatrist regarding my feet. I hear alot about Health Care Disparities with African Americans. I thought it was a myth. After visiting this Podiatrist office. I realize that as a patient I am not listened to and my cries go unheard. My experiences go like this. Receptionist seemed frustrated and was unwelcoming. My appointment was nearly 2 hours long. The person that came an examined me listened to my concern and then prescribed me to see a PT. I found out she was the owner of the practice. No Proper Introduction. The visit cost me 300.00 She referred me to ARI Physical Therapy Down Town Boston, who called me and referred me to another PT office. She also refused to fill out my employer Physical Statement. Which would assist me in getting paid for my work related absences and for me to get a work accommodation. Forcing me to go back to work under the same condition. The Follow up appointment was cancelled. I was informed the doctor will be out until an unforeseen future. I put in a request for the office to fill out the Physician statement and was scheduled to see another Doctor. I met with Dr. Bolla whom listen to my concern and agreed that she felt what I described that felt like a blister on the inside of my feet which caused me to walk with a limp and barely stand on my feet at times. I could not wear sneakers or shoes. I could only where crocs or Nike Slides. To me it seem like my condition is getting worst. I could not complete a 20 minute exercise routine. I could barely walk after that and I still can't walk long distances and for more than 2 hours. I The condition she diagnosed me with was called Bursitis. She told me to order insoles from Amazon as well as to take Aleve, Motrin or ibuprofen for the inflammation and to ice for 15 minutes. Nov 1, I went back to visit her because after I started researching other Podiatrist on You Tube. I didn't hear the other doctors from You Tube say to treat inflammation like that. So she prescribed a prescription Medrol that I need to take for 6 days to treat the inflammation. Now the doctor told me I have Arthritis in my foot. I don't know what Is wrong with me after meeting with several specialist. My condition is not improving and it's getting worst. I am afraid I may loose my foot after my cries for help is falling on deaf ears and I am paying Hundreds of Dollars to be told take Motrin.
I've had two appointments at Boston Common Podiatry with Dr. Szpiro, for a laser treatment. I found her exceptionally helpful, clear and friendly in discussing the treatment with me, what to expect, and the strengths and limitations of lasers. She invites questions and responds easily. I recommend her highly.
Dr. Szpiro is an outstanding podiatrist, and her office sure is convenient! I was having heal pain and went in for a consultation not knowing what to expect. The good doctor took plenty of time to examine me and then gave me a very thorough explanation of the causes of my pain and what I could do about it. In the end, I settled on getting prescription orthotics and starting a stretching regimen. It did the trick. :
Dr. Jordan Szpiro is a great Podiatrist! She is incredibly knowledgeable and shares info in thoughtful kind way. She fixed my neuroma and it’s been years! I saw her when I was working in Boston, and loved walking thru the Back Bay to get her office. She’s in a great location and the staff is great. Highly recommend! JC Hingham, MA
“Don’t do it, it’s going to hurt, I’ve heard horror stories about that surgery.” These are sentiments from family and friends when I told them I was having foot surgery. Obviously, they have never heard about Boston Common Podiatry and Dr. Jordana Szpiro. Dr. Szpiro has been my doctor for about a year and half. She has offered solutions to my foot problems from least invasive to surgery. Unfortunately, I did end up needing surgery but being in her care, I wasn’t worried. From pre-surgery to post-surgery consultations, Dr. Szpiro was efficient and contemplative in her delivery. She was insistent on specific procedures I needed to follow throughout the process and at the same time, determined to provide the best care for my foot. I have never had surgery before. Dr. Szpiro explained what to expect and that is exactly what I got. I am so very glad I didn’t listen to the naysayers about foot surgery. Dr. Szpiro is without a doubt a class act, highest rating surgeon that I recommend to anyone in need of a podiatrist.
Dr. Szpiro is a dedicate doctor. She takes time with her patients and listens to what they have to say. She started treating me for a wart that other doctor's weren't able to get rid of. She did a great job although Laser is extremely painful! Then I had other foot issues and she was very good at treating them. I highly recommend Dr. Szpiro if you need a good podiatrist.
Do NOT make an appointment here! The Staff scheduling appointments Brianna is so rude and prejudice! It is 2021 really surprised they treat Black people like this even today. One receptionist literally told me that was not her job and hang up on me when I told her I will be visiting BIMDC because she was being so rude. After I called back to speak to a supervisor and she chuckled! Not surprised! No worries I will take my co-pay and experience some where else. Dr. Sax your receptionist has potentially cost you thousands of dollars sir. And I usually do not write public yelps, but this is too much.
