Love this place! The food was delicious & you really got a great portion for the price. You could taste the love and passion from the lovely people in the kitchen. Pictured are the grilled chicken sandwich, tiramisu as a birthday surprise, and ribeye steak with rice and beans. The waitress was really nice and caring. Not pictured was a “mango/guava surprise” kind of alcoholic slushy-style drink that was SO good. Bottom line, I’ll definitely be returning and will recommend to others :
This place has one best home cooked meals in Virginia Beach. If you enjoy food with flavor and presentation. This is the place. Authentic Argentinian Food at its best. My favorite dish is the short rib!! Must try if you are in need for something different and delicious. Friendly staff and delicious food.
You know what feeling when a restaurant: -Sits you at a dirty uncleaned table far from the rest of the diners in a corner --Diners that come in 20 minutes after we ordered were provided utensils, napkins and bread immediately before our table did. We didn't even get bread -Takes an hour for your order to finally arrive Food was ok overall. Chicken and pork was horrendous, dry. Steak cuts were decent
This is the place to go if you're craving a steak! Amazing service from a locally owned family restaurant! My husband and I both had ribeyes and they were the best steak we've ever had from a restaurant. It's like butcher son on steroids! Go check them out, we even got the homemade beef empandas! Amazing!!
Outstanding service, better bread, and possibly the best burger I’ve ever eaten…ever. Arrive hungry - once you pick it up, you can’t put it down until it’s complete. The homemade roll maintains integrity even though it’s so big and thick. Go get one. You won’t be disappointed.
Terrific lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my skirt steak sandwich twice, half at lunch and the other half at dinner. Real grilled skirt steak with a charcoal grill flavor. My wife's crazy salad was also large with lots of grilled chicken and sliced avocado. Prices were higher than chain restaurants, but well worth it based on quality, taste and quantity.
This is why the Pope is so happy: Argentinian food is amazing. We've wanted to come here for ages and we finally had the chance on a fine Saturday. We were taken care of by Jocelyn, who was very helpful and provided answers to our questions. The avocado with shrimp was an amazing appetizer and it's clear the kitchen team take pride in their produce, as the aforementioned avocado was perfection. My partner ordered the skirt steak sandwich, which was almost a spiritual experience. The bread was amazing. I ordered Jorgio's Salad and it was amazing. The demiglace on the chicken was made in house, as was the hot sauce on the plate's rim that reminded me severely of the lovechild of gochuchang and sriracha, but much better. The bathroom was small, but very clean, and everything in the restaurant was tidy and wlecoming. We will definitely be coming back for dinner!
This is one of the hidden gems of the city. It’s an Argentinian style cuisine tucked away in a small obsolete strip mall. But surely one that is not to be missed if you visit the area. This one is on Virginia Beach Blvd. another location comes up via gps for General Booth Blvd. I’m not sure if the are the same or just share the same name. This unassuming restaurant has a small menu with some big offerings. We ordered the grill as one of the waitresses advised. We order the grill for two but our waiter ‘Anderson’ ordered the grill for one for us. It was more than enough food and plenty to take home! The meats were tender, juicy and very flavorful. There was beef, pork, and chicken and sides. We ordered an appetizer of shrimp stuffed avocado. When the dish was presented, my initial thought was, ‘I am not going to eat that’. It’s was magnificent and bursting with flavor. The restaurant is medium sized and can accommodate a small group. There was a table that was set for about 16 guest. There is also a really nice bar area that had hangers for your purse or umbrellas eat each seat. Very good customer service. This gem rates high on our list. It’s one of those spots that only the locals know about.
Wow! Wow! Wow! This is my new favorite place in VB! The family run gem delighted us from the second we walked in! The hostess was bubbly and sincere. We asked for recommendations and were treated to mouthfuls of culinary bliss!! Every portion was huge and made when ordered. Really reminded me of the local chef’s in bistros from my international adventures. The shrimp stuffed avocado appetizer was so fresh with a light dressing and giant shrimp! The mixed grill had 5 kinds of meat and sausage cooked to perfection! The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! And the accompanying salad was like a Greek salad and really combined well with the meats! We were also treated to a Tres Leche cake, so had to have an expresso, and both were a perfect finish! Even though we ordered the mixed grill for one and split it, we came home with 3 boxes of leftovers! For the enormous amount of food, and a few glasses of wine, the prices were super reasonable! If you are a carnivore, put Jorgio’s on your must visit list this week! The family was so nice and is taking all the appropriate COVID precautions! We’ll see you there soon!
It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be put off. This place is a hidden gem in Hampton Roads. Food was great, staff was excellent. This may be a better selection for dinner though, as the portion size is impressive and there is no lunch menu.
