Today was an incredible experience at this Joseph A. Bank location in Norman. Steven was incredibly polite and helpful. I had been hospitalized after surgery, gained a few pounds, and wasn’t entirely sure of my suit measurements. I told Steven I needed a last minute suit for a sudden funeral, and none of mine fit currently. Not only did he go out of his way to quickly measure me, but he offered multiple suggestions and styles. After we tracked down the one that fit properly, he quoted me a great price. I asked him to help me match a shirt and tie, which he did willingly. Afterwards, knowing I needed to leave town the next day, he personally called a tailor in town to make sure they could have it fitted for me next day. Incredible customer service, great styles, and I couldn’t have been happier.
I hadn't been to this store in a long while, in fact I had stopped coming intentionally as I felt the service had degenerated badly and the employees were not really all that knowledgeable in their field. However, Steven and his crew have turned the store around! This was a great shopping/buying experience! I needed a new suit at the last minute for an Awards Ceremony the CEO of the company I work for was to receive a very prestigious award. Dress was to be black tie at minimum and the team at this store went above and beyond to ensure I had a great suit, altered properly and at a far better price than I would have thought given the time constraints. I would say if you are a Jos. A Bank fan or a fan of great customer service in general and who isn't the team at this store WILL make sure you are well taken care of and look great in your new wardrobe.
Couldn't be happier! Our son needed a suit for the prom and Steven provided a great shopping experience and was extremely helpful. We were under a tight timeline and the suit fit was perfect. Our son was so pleased and he left tonight on his prom date with great confidence. We got a great price for the suit, shirt and tie -- very pleased from start to finish. Thanks Steven!
I would rate this store a zero if possible. I am planning my wedding and spent two hours in the store trying on suits. The suit I ordered was changed more than once and I was given different information every time I talked to someone from the store. The tailoring was amateur at best. The shirt I ordered was called several different colors by staff and when my groomsmen went to buy it in different stores they were sold wrong colors and then told the color was discontinued. This company is the worst I've ever dealt with and would never recommend them to anyone. DON'T step foot in this store unless you want to get screwed over.
At first glance, it can be really overwhelming with all of the choices, especially if you aren't used to suit shopping on a regular basis. Alex Vile helped my fiancee and groomsmen with EVERYTHING for our wedding and he was SO amazing. From explaining sizing and taking measurements to giving us cost effective options and honoring my coupons. I would absolutely recommend this place, but make sure to ask for Alex. I found myself several times telling him that he was awesome. Thanks for spending over an hour and a half with us making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The worst store ever. My husband went in to get a tux for a very IMPORTANT PAGEANT. They royally messed it all up, in fact it was the assistant manager Dianna Olsen who did. My husband ordered a size 50 long tux and she ordered it, it came in the day of my pageant and she ordered the wrong size, it was 2 sizes small. So then the lanky guy wearing a ponytail tries to put a size 54 on my husband. He is a big guy, but he looked like he was a little boy wearing his dad's jacket. The employee kept lying and telling him it looked good. I would never recommend this place if it was the last men's clothing store on earth. Stay AWAY!
Starting a new job I needed professional dress clothes. My wife and I went to JoS. A. Bank in Norman because they were having a great sale. The people working there were fairly helpful. We picked out a few shirts that were not available in my size. We were told that they could order them online and they would ship to us in 3 to 5 days. Skip ahead two months and I still don't have all my shirts. We have contacted the store and customer service multiple times and get a different excuse each time. It has become apparent to me that customer satisfaction is not high on their priority list. Realistically, I would probably shop there again but I won't pay for anything that I don't walk out with that same day.
This place is terrible sales people very rude.We went to the Norman location with my husband to buy suits for his work. There was two sales man one with costumers and the other just standing there, after a few minutes waiting finally the one standing came and ask so are you spending 2000 dollars right? He said. We looked at each other with my husband and couldn’t believe he just said that like he was desperate for someone to shop there. Anyways we needed two suits, but i decided to leave. I’m not going to buy them there.
I needed to get a new suit and was able to get one at a good price with no sales pressure at all. The helped me to pick the best color and option as well. I'll need to wait a week for it to come in, but the tailoring is included with the price, so I'm all set with no nickel and diming at all.
Got a suit for my 7 year old for a wedding. 1st words out of salesman's mouth when I picked up his suit was "if this doesn't fit we can't do anything about it". WHY is that what you would say? WHY would there be ANY expectation that a custom fitted suit that I paid a $20 fitting fee for, mind you would not fit???? SHOCKER, pants were too small. So I thankfully figured out how to loosen. Vest clasp broke the second we put it on, had to duct tape it....classy. Overpriced.
