Founder Mark Joseph was a leading expert and appraiser of antique rugs from around the world and now his son Mike Joseph proudly continues the family business.

I spoke with both the owner and his son.  Both were the most knowledgable people I have ever spoken to about rugs.  They helped me with a rug I did not purchase from them and just gave me their opinion on if it was ruined or not. They have a great selection of rugs and work hard to stay in your budget with their quality products.  You can't go wrong working with this multi-generationally owned company.

What Michael/Joseph's doesn't know about oriental/exotic rugs is not worth knowing.  Appraisals, sales, etc...the only place to go.

Michael is so easy to work with. Knowledgeable, personable, and professional.  Helped me find the perfect rug for our nursery amongst many excellent choices!

It's a trip to a far away place once you step inside. Joseph's is a cleaning and repair shop for the gorgeous rugs that you own. And at a very fair price!!  My GF and I got a machine made wool Karastan rug for cheapy cheap from Audrey's in Indy. Took it to Joseph's and got it back in a few days looking better than when we got it.  They have an immense selection of absolutely to-die-for gorgeous rugs. If you know that a rug like this is your desire then this is the best place in the midwest to find exactly what you have in mind.  Out of a rating of 5 I give Joseph's Imports Inc. This place is unimaginable, carpets area rough from back 1890 u have to see 4ur self. Amazing,  controversial  and the list goes on, on, and on. U willnt regret it.

My search for quality hand-knotted, room-size rugs ended at Joseph’s. Mike Joseph was highly accommodating and the process transpired with ease.

They did a great job cleaning a hall rug at a very reasonable price.

I have delt with them for many years...father  and now son. Fantastic inventory.  Excellent repair service on customers own carpets in-store. Fair prices.
