This place is cozy and comfortable to spend one of your dinners here. Food is fresh and delicious ®Serving time is super fast. After my order even not five minutes past and I got my soup and appetizers. I was surprisingly shocked of such as fast service. Menu has different varieties of interesting dishes, I even never heard about. I definitely will visit this place again to explore and try more traditional Thai food
I got the tofu pad see yue and the coconut mango sticky rice. My favorite part was the hot sauces. The tofu had a great texture. Only thing would be a deeper fresher? flavor in the noodles because they mostly tasted pretty sweet with wok flavor. I would go back just for the coconut mango sticky rice!
One of my favorite Thai Food Spots in NYC. Very reasonable pricing and quality food. The location is very modern. Make sure you order the sticky wings Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Great place for food, fun, dates. Delicious food, great service, beautiful ambience. Cute outside. Definitely recommend!
Ordered takeout from Joya and it was delicious! Fresh, hot and ready before the anticipated pick up time. I had pad see ew with beef and curry noodles with chicken. Both were fantastic!Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Diamond in the rough! Location, atmosphere, service all very good and fast. But best of all the food is delicious. We sat outside on a beautiful late summer day and had a fabulous night before a concert. Will come again! Thank you for a wonderful dinner, the suggestions were right on the spot!
Finding this place was easy, despite it having no flashy storefront signs or decorations. As you enter you are greeted by a clean and spatious restaurant floor, with backyard seating, bar area and an open kitchen. The waiting staff were very efficient and courteous, being there at exact times when you'd need them. The Thai cuisine is probably not 100% authentic, judging by the level of spiciness of dishes, but it's pretty close in terms of the variety on the menu. The quality of the ingredients and sauces was fantastic. Given a chance, I'll definitely stop here again for a good warming lunch on a gloomy cool day.
The food at Joya was okay.. the beef skewers came out dam near well done and was super chewy. The main entree made up for it though, that was tasty. The environment there is very relaxing and would make for a nice date night spot.
Just left here after waiting for over 30 minutes for food to come to our table. We were there as soon as the restaurant opened at 5 and we ordered at 5:05. It took 20 minutes for our server to bring drink. He misunderstood everything we ordered because of not speaking English well. After watching ALL the other tables receive their food and various employees touch their faces and hair while handling food and speaking and talking without masks over food, we decided to leave. This restaurant typically has great service and safe/sanitary food hygiene. All of those things were seriously lacking today!
It was great. I've been here pre-covid and came back thinking something would've changed. Thankfully, the food and service are just as good! The flavors are unique and perfect, not overwhelming. About an Avenue or 2 down, there's a park with a beautiful view as well. Definitely recommend.
