Joyful Garden Chinese Restaurant

Tonight we all was ready to eat from this place we have enjoy for the past years and tonight may be the last night when a long fine and strong piece of hair was cooked into my egg foo young I’m COMPLETELY disgusted and have no other words then to be HONEST…. Never again ! Food: 2/5

I called, placed an order for delivery at 8;02 call was 3 minutes; time for delivery was 30-40 minutes! 8:35-8:45! I called back 3 times to check my order was told driver was out! I received my order WRONG AND COLD AS HELL! Called back spoke to manager Chen or Jen! I told her replace my order immediately come and get this order! I use to enjoy their food but the last couple times my order has been incorrect! Now the manager tells me she has to call to issue credit to my card! I told her you didn’t call anyone to accept my card and protocol dictates you credit my card! Purchase at your own risk to be hungry and not cooking because you are packing up or working! Wrong order and cold food!

Went here about 2 weeks ago. The food here is so flavorful! Their bean curd with mixed vegetables is delicious and my stomach did not feel bad after eating it like most places. As someone who just moved from NYC, 20 minutes is a long time to wait in the store for pickup, HOWEVER that may be how it is here in Delaware and also, it made me feel like the food was being prepared fresher instead of just thrown in sauce and served. It tasted fresh as well. I would definitely order food from here again. Portion sizes are generous as well.

They tried to kill me. I told them no onion and they put it in my food. Then when I called them and told them what they did the man tells me I can come to there store and exchange after I paid for delivery. If you value your life don't eat here.Food: 1/5

Chicken was weird didn’t eat it I ordered a large chicken fried rice, rice was good but chicken wasn’t get rice without chicken or any other meatFood: 2/5

They have some good Chinese food here. Service was fast and I've had no problems with my food when ordering from here.

My bf is autistic and loves duck sauce. We told them he uses 3 duck sauces per egg roll and they gave us a whole bag of duck sauce. I love how they care for my autistic boyfriend. Thank you Joyful Garden we will return!!! Wheelchair accessibility: He fell out of his wheelchair

I got the hot and sour soup and scallops for delivery via grubhub. The order was 20 minutes late despite it being just a couple blocks away. Though the soup was still hot when it got here, it was bland. The scallops were luke warm at best. Very disappointed. The garlic sauce I ordered on the sauce was okay but did not taste of garlic. The only thing tasty was the crisps that came on the side of the soup.

Well it was very disappointing. I delivered it didn’t come until a hour later. The food was very cold. The rice taste stale and burnt. The pork or onions was not cut up properly it looks like it was just thrown in the platter. My egg roll was good just very cold and so was my shrimp on the sticks. I was never order from here again!
