This company had a vehicle towed off of the property for not moving for 3 days. Funny thing is the owner of the vehicle who lives with me has a handicapped pass, was parked correctly, and also had the corona virus when the vehicle was towed.The tow bill cost 678$ for 3 days. Brenda c. practices regular favoritism with certain tenants and lets them park wherever they want. Vicky the real estate manager is god awful and will try to manipulate you. Do not ever rent from them! They do not maintain properties properly and do not have ANY COMMON COURTESY.
When we moved to Loganberry, Irma Jimenez <irmaj@jpm-re> explicitly told us that hanging shelves is permissible as long as the tenants patch the holes up which we did. During our move out month, Irma and a maintenance man had a walk through the apartment. She verbally said everything looked good and we'll be receiving our security deposit of $500. JPM deducted $441 as a 'Move Out Charge' to patch, texture and paint the walls. Be aware that this company will charge you an unreasonable amount to move out.
I wish I could rate 0 stars. They are so late to respond and seem to hardly care. They post a new notice on my door weekly about some work being done in my apartment that they need access too. This has been going on for months and it has put me out of my place for days at a time. They have a special phone number and email set up specifically for our complex but good luck trying to get a quick response. They took over our previous company which was amazing and now have all these rules like we can't back into our own parking spaces that we pay for? They do not send electronic copies of notices, which would be nice in case we are out of town and can't see the notice. Neighbor downstairs has been waiting for a long time to hear from them about getting their dishwasher fixed. One of my doors fell off and I called twice, emailed twice, and didn't get a response. They finally came to inspect something else and I left a note to which they replied we'll be in touch. I had to call again multiple times to get ahold of somebody after they said they will "be in touch" mind - I gave them over a week and a half to "get in touch". They ignore complaints from other tenants about one tenant who steals packages and harasses other tenants. They are the absolute worst. I want to move as soon as I can.
UPDATE: After posting this review, my husband and I received a visit from one of the managers of JPM, his name was Ben. We found out that he really is an employee of JPM, from what I posted before we weren't sure if he was or not, he gave me his correct contact information and he also made us feel like our opinions really mattered and he was truly concerned about our issues. He did a lot of great things to make everything right and for that we are truly grateful.. we are now reconsidering if we want to stay with this real estate agency after all that he did for us! Thank you Ben for all of your hard work and your concern for our issues. If I could give them zero stars, I would! I live in Crown Ridge apartments in west Salem and the property manager here is pretty much non existent! We've been waiting for her to be in the office so that we can pay our rent and she hasn't been in there for over a week! She lives in the building and is still never available. This company is known for losing rent checks and money orders so we refuse to put our rent in the drop box anymore. When we have an issue it is very hard to get ahold of someone to get it resolved. My husband wrote a review for them and supposedly one of their "big bosses" came out to fix our problem but I just got off of the phone with their corporate offices and they have no record of anyone coming out to address our issue so I'm guessing that was all fake, especially because the phone number and email that he gave me doesn't work. This whole place is a joke and we are trying to get out of here as soon as possible. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!
We were contracted by one of the property managers to do a full clean out on an apartment complex. When we invoiced for the work, we were told that the property manager wasn't authorized to approve the work we did. After countless hours on the phone, back and forth emails, JPM has still refused to pay the invoice for the work my company was contracted to do. Terrible business practice. Bad way to treat your contractors.
JPM does a fantastic job!! The few maintenance issues that came. I was able to get a hold of my manager Irmaand she had maintenance out within 1day, and Eddie did a fantastic job. He quickly finished and had things cleaned up. I am very happy to continue renting from Jpm
God Awful Experience 0 Stars... DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH JPM!!! From the minute I applied and got accepted I had problems with this JPM. Company strictly cares about money and it is obvious when you talk to any of the workers. They are all about finessing the customer for as much money and are rarely there to help out. Told management about multiple problems and instead of helping out they blamed it on the owner of the building or simply told us to ignore whatever problem it was. 0 stars all around, don't waste your time with these people!
They don't keep their appartments to code, and make up charges as you move out to gouge you further. I had nothing but electrical problems, things breaking, and it always took them two to three weeks to fix it, or not at all as in the case of the gutters that hadn't been cleaned in so long they had separated from the roof and are dripping black tar. Or the toilet that has a puddle around it everytime it rains. Or the cabnet that was empty, but still decided to drop on my washer and dryer. You try having a six person family with no washer for two weeks while you wait for someone to come and fix a 900 pound cabnet. Not the worse people to rent from, but in the top 2% of don't rent from these guys.
