Amazing experience. Van was in good condition, amazing staff, car travelled well. Had all necessary items for sleeping/cooking. We will definitely be using Jucy again in the future.
Great in an ideal world BUT terrible customer service, dangerous vehicle and a rip off. The vehicle was a month overdue for an oil change and 25+ thousand miles over. Unfortunately we did not realize until we were a quarter of the way up the hill in Sequoia, when the van's engine light went on. Suddenly the van began to lug up the hill, barely making it. We had no service so we waited until we dropped off the vehicle to ask for a small refund. We spent at least 100$ more than we should have in gas and it was unsafe to drive all the way back. She complained that we didn't call in but reluctantly gave us 50$ back. I'd go with a different company in Vegas... Maybe jucy somewhere else.
Jucy RV's is a nice concept- but the pick up experience at this place is pretty poor. The facility is run down. We were "welcomed" by a snarky hostess who made us wait 45 minutes. Not great.
We had some issues with our car but the guys from jucy Las Vegas helped uns immediately and very spontaneously without laughing at us haha. Perfect service, very friendly, funny and good looking! It was an outstanding costumers experience! Thank you!!
The customer service at this site is very poor. We were given the wrong lock box combination and it took us 2 hours to get the right one. When we had called the 800 number, the call was dropped on us while on hold 3 times. We weren't given any instruction on how to use this vehicle and another group we met showed us the manual they had received. The Jucy itself was OK. We would have liked more storage space and we didn't really use the sink in the kitchen since we didn't know how to clean it up afterwards.
The Jucy van was great! We had it on the road for three nights cruising through Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks. It worked out wonderfully. The van was sparkling clean and fully functional. I've done a number of road trips out west and plan to do many more. You can bet that I'll be in a Jucy van when I do my next one.
While we don’t regret renting the van, we were disappointed to find that the USB connection and DC power didn’t work. We discovered this about 2 hours after leaving the lot. Apparently checking that everything is functional in their vans prior to renting them out is not something included in Jucy’s service offering. Upon calling Jucy, we were advised to try changing the fuses and checking that all the wires were plugged in securely. We purchased fuses and a screw driver. This didn’t resolve the problem, so our contact at Jucy Jason told us to purchase a battery pack to ensure we would be able to charge our devices during our trip. He said he’d take care of us when we returned and would reimburse us. The power issue additionally meant we were unable to use an electric blanket during our December trip in Zion and Bryce. On returning the van, we were told that everything was functioning and we wouldn’t be reimbursed. When we asked how that could be, AJ told us he had removed the panel and reorganised the wires to make it work. So, it was broken, but now it’s fixed? Not sure how that resolves the issue! Eventually we managed to get the reimbursement, but being made to feel like we were lying about the power issue, and being told by AJ “I wouldn’t have advised you to buy a battery pack”, as if that made any difference to the fact that it was the advice we’d had from Jucy, really soured our experience with the company. Hopefully this is a location-specific problem, but I won’t be in a rush to rent a Jucy van again.
We rented out of the Las Vegas branch and the customer service/van were great ... at first! The concept of the JUCY van is awesome with lots of cool features and they even told us we had a full sized spare tire under the car! Well a couple days into our trip our engine started making clicking and grinding noises and our refrigerator stopped working, so we called in and they said they’d give us a call back in the morning, but they NEVER DID! So we continued our journey because we had places to be! and our engine got worse AND our back tire blew! We called JUCY and roadside assistance couldn’t get there for 3.5 hours, so we started changing the tire ourselves and it was a regular sized spare tire, which is fine except for the fact that they LIED to us!! When we checked further, all tires were in terrible condition, we barely made it to Park City, and JUCY was not helpful at all when we called. Again, really cool concept but I think CruiseAmerica or any other RV/van company would be a way better option next time.
Worst customer service. Absolutely disgraceful. My girlfriend and I had booked a Jucy Van and were led to believe we could do an after hours pick up and drop off. Well, that was not the case we have sent numerous emails and made many phone calls, left messages and JUCY has been completely non-responsive. Also, refuse any refund. If you're going to leave out of Vegas to do southern Utah, Arizona, etc - go with Cruise America. Their rates and service puts JUCY to shame. I will NEVER BE RECOMMENDING JUCY TO ANYONE else. Cruise America all the way. You get way more for your money.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY I booked a trip that got canceled by COVID. I called this local vegas office, corporate office, and emailed the local and corporate office and was told I could get a refund, but never got one. The las vegas office never answers my phone call or email. I lost over $400 on a trip that I couldnt even go on. This company is a scam and I would not risk putting my money into them. STAY AWAY.
