Julie Allen Bridals

Definitely needs to be rated over 5 stars! I had a great experience at my appointment! Sept 2022. The woman who helped me try on dresses was amazing. I saw a dress online that Julie Allen had in their store the main reason I went and had to put it on. I did try on a few more options but I always went back to the first dress. I was then brought to the front of the store on their runway and a couple employees helped me find the perfect veil! I then rang the bell and yes to my dress!! In January 2023 of this year, only 3 months after I ordered my dress, my grandfather went into hospice. It was devastating because we knew he wouldn't make it to my wedding. I contacted Julie Allen's if it would be possible to borrow the sample I tried on to show him before he passed. They 100% wanted to help me and even said they could check on my dress to see if they could have it finished sooner. Unfortunately before anything could be planned, my grandfather passed away. I let the store know what happened and they were very sympathetic and sent their condolences. I never expected them to be so kind and caring about it <3 My dress arrived at the store 2 weeks ago July 2023 and I was so excited to see it. I took my Mom and future MIL & SIL with me to my appointment. I got the same amazing treatment as I did the first time I stepped into their store. Everyone was so nice and the girl who helped me into my dress was amazing. She even picked out one of their necklaces I could try on with my dress to get some ideas on jewelry. My Mom and MIL were also helped by other employees to see what colors would look good on them for Mother's dresses. Right before we left one of the employees asked if I was Fiona. When I said yes, she introduced herself I wish I remembered her name!! and told me she was sorry again about my Grandfather. That was the best ending to my appointment I could have gotten. I am so happy that I chose to get my dress at Julie Allen. Not only are their employees hard workers but they are compassionate and will do everything they can to help you in any situation! I will be back next summer 2024 to start on my alterations and will definitely be posting an update!!!

I went to 3 other boutiques and Julie Allen Bridal was the best by far. I worked with Melanie. She helped me find my perfect wedding ceremony dress. I was extremely pleased with her level of professionalism and knowledge. Also, she was the best at pinning the dresses so I could get a true sense of what it would look like on the day after alterations. I appreciated that alterations were done on site and that I could store my dress there until the day before my wedding.

I came in March to look for a dress for the first time and this was the best experience I've had on my bridal journey. The lady I think Erica helping me find dresses was by far the kindest I've ever met- in the best way possible, she was Lorelai from Gilmore Girls which is who I really needed on my first time shopping. As a girl who's going solo dress shopping, everyone here made me feel secure, didn't pressure me, and made me feel so warm and welcome. I'm 100% I've found my dress on the visit I had, nothing compares. I've went to several other bridal stores who made me feel ashamed for shopping alone and insecure about myself, but Julie Allen has my heart and I can't wait to come back and purchase my dress here!

I cannot recommend Julie Allen Bridals enough to anyone planning a wedding. They went above and beyond for me multiples times throughout the year I worked with them. We found that my mother needed to start chemo therapy immediately the week we were going to start dress shopping. We had one weekend to search for a dress before she started treatment during the pandemic and could no longer go out in public and I refused to go dress shopping without my mom. Our first stop was Julie Allen Bridals. We reached out to them ahead of time and asked if we could have a photographer come and photograph us together in dresses while we shopped since she would be losing her hair and we wanted to photograph her with her long locks. Not only did they agree to have a photographer come, but they offered to shoot the photos for us with one of their bridal consultants, Erica, who photographs her in spare time. She refused to take any payment We found a fantastic dress at that first shop that had amazing sleeves I couldn't stop thinking about the entire weekend while we kept looking and made the decision to move forward with Julie Allen. They were very accommodating about the alteration requests I had as I wanted to change some underskirt colors and vastly cut back the long train and worked with me every step of the way to get clarity and make sure the dress was exactly what I wanted. Yupa, my seamstress at Julie Allen was so warm and kind. She knew exactly what to do to alter the dress and even add in little additions here and there to make managing the dress easier. We did try adding some clear strips to the shoulders under the sheer fabric there to stop some redness where the dress rubbed, but it was far too distracting and reflective in the light. The owner herself, Melanie, spent the better part of an hour removing them herself! My mom is officially in remission a year later now and focusing on the wedding gave her something positive to look forward to as she fought. We are so glad we started our dress journey with Julie Allen Bridals and they will always have a special place in our hearts as we think back on our wedding planning experience. You won't get a better experience than here at Julie Allen Bridals. I'd come here again, but I'm not planning to get married again any time soon so I'll have to recommend them to all my engaged friends instead. :

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Julie Allen Bridal is absolutely WONDERFUL. I tried on, fell in love with and ordered my dress months and months before my wedding. When it came in and I tried it on it did not fit me right to NO fault of JA and I hated it. Erica & the team worked tirelessly at the end of the day on a Saturday I might add to find me a dress that would arrive within a week so I could start alterations and have my dress by my wedding day. I didn't have an appointment to try on dresses and they still stayed late and helped me find my dream dress. They were so sweet and accommodating and made that experience SO much better than it could have been. They listened to what I liked and wanted and found me THE dress. I got the alterations done through JA and worked with Carmen - she is a magician! My dress is absolutely perfect! I decided on a veil last minute and Erica found me one that could get here in time AND matched my dress perfectly. Melanie made sure that everything got to the store on time and was ready for me to pick up. She checked in on me at each appointment and made it a point to ensure I was happy through the entire experience! They are truly the best people. I would recommend this shop to EVERY bride out there looking for their dream dress and a perfect experience. THANK YOU JA Team! :

Had a wonderful experience with Erica. She was very helpful and she listened to what my daughter was looking for in a wedding dress. As a result, my daughter was able to say "Yes to the dress" at Julie Allen Bridals. This is my second daughter shopping there for a dress. Would definitely recommend Julie Allen to anyone who is looking for a wedding dress.

The floor workers and seamstresses I worked with at Julie Allen were absolutely phenomenal. I am a plus size bride bridal size 18 and dreaded the day I would have to try on a dress. The ladies here did not stop until I felt beautiful and found me the perfect dress and veil for my wedding. I have never felt so happy with my body in a dress. They made my wedding day absolutely perfect and I would recommend any bride check out their store. Also a special recommendation for their seamstress Yupa who worked tirelessly to make sure my dress fit like a glove!

I recently went with my future daughter-in-law and her family to view dresses for her wedding. She had made an appointment with a stylist to choose her wedding dress for a Saturday. The shop was extremely crowded and there were many brides waiting to look at their dress in the trifold mirrors. We were not allowed to choose the dresses ourselves. The dresses were selected by the stylist for the bride based on a photo the bride had shown her. It was our first time looking at dresses and so really needed our stylist to present us with many options to give the bride a chance to develop her idea of what she wanted. The stylist was unsmiling and complained that "we were making her job more difficult." When the bride commented on a dress to further inform the stylist of her likes and dislikes, the stylist often walked away or did not listen. She repeatedly brought dresses that had attributes the bride had said she did not like. All of us agreed that the shop was unfriendly, and created a joyless ambiance for an experience that should be joyful. We also viewed the dress quality as poor, often created with poor quality fabrics or poor design.

Jessica and all of the staff at Julie Allen Bridal were such a pleasure to work with. Coming from an industry profession and just being the most indecisive person ever, Jessica had her work cut out for her. I can tell how much she loves her job, because she really took her time with me and allowed me to continue to try on dresses until I was 100% happy. I found my perfect dress and felt incredible beautiful on my wedding day! It fit me perfectly and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. I will be sending all of my friends, family and brides. Thank you Jessica and everyone at Julie Allen Bridal for everything you did to exceed my high expectations!!

I actually miss going for bridal fittings. I tried on one dress and one dress only. My dress was originally strapless but they put a veil on the arms and I loved it even more! All my bridesmaids dresses came out perfect! Everybody looked beautiful and we were all very comfortable all day. I highly recommend Julian Allen.
