Had one month to get my wedding dress altered, it was over a foot too long with a scalloped lace edge I wanted to keep. This place was able to look at the dress and shorten the skirt through the waist so I could keep the scalloped lace and got the dress done with two days to spare which was a day earlier than promised. Reasonably priced and wonderful people, 10 out of 10 would recommend. This is the fifth dress we've had altered there and I keep going back because they are so wonderful.Service: Dress alterations
I will never go to June’s alterations again. She overcharges and under delivers. There’s no set price for anything, she just charges whatever she feels like charging you at that moment and however much she thinks she can get away with, and I basically paid her to do absolutely nothing. Just to hem a bridesmaid’s dress was over $100, while she ended up charging someone else for the same thing a lot less. I had my mom pick up my dress because I live somewhere else and couldn’t pick it up, but I trusted that she did the job that I asked, so I didn’t try on the dress after the alteration. That was a big mistake. Not only was my dress still dragging the floor even with heels on but she had also broken the clasp that was once at the top of my dress!!!! Do you think that’s worth $100? I don’t! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ALTERATIONS! It’s a rip off!Service: Custom tailoring
The only reason why I am giving 3 stars is because I think the husband did an amazing job altering my daughters prom dress. He was also very sociable compared to his wife, who seemed more demanding and unprofessional. I was shocked to find out how much it cost to hem the dress also, which was a huge rip-off. If it wasn't for finding an altering company at the last minute, I would have definitely gone elsewhere. I was disappointed because the owner who altered my daughters dress previously was not there. When I told my husband how much it cost since he gets his uniforms altered all the time, he stated that was way too much compared to where he goes. Please save your buck and find a place that is actually professional.
I’ve used June’s Alterations for years…they have sewn patches on my son’s Boy Scout shirt, hemmed pants and altered curtain panels for me. They offer an excellent and fast service for a fair price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Customer service stopped from even using their service. I asked for a minimum price or a set price and the receptionist actually laughed at me. Receptionist finally gave me a price of 75 dollars which was just as much as the dress. Will not be ever calling here again.
This lady has horrible customer service skills. When other customers came in while I was there, she was quick to give attention and she didn’t seem to be price gouging them the way she did with me. She wanted charge me $90 to hem the bottom of my dress I paid $70 for the dress so there was no way I would pay more for a hem. I told her no thank you I’ll take my business elsewhere. Then she demanded $10 for her “time” because she had to take all of 2 mins to put a mark on the dress. I will never return to this place again.
We have gone here for a long time. They are great!! Even when my husband asked for my name tag to be sewn on incorrectly realized when I picked it, they took it off and corrected it within the hour! Great customer service and reasonable prices. Ingo here for everything.Service: Uniform tailoring
Horrible, should have done the work myself... and she blew me off for 2 weeks... will never return for work. By far the worst tailor I have ever been to. I left my prom dress there, thinking it was in good hands, but when I came to pick it up there was a huge coffee stain along the side. I asked her about it and she kept saying, "I don't know, I don't know," and laughing, before changing her story and saying the stain was on the dress before I came in. I have pictures from the fitting and the dress is stain free, so I know it happened at the shop. She didn't apologize or offer any kind of discount and I left the shop in tears, it completely ruined my dress experience. I'm just thankful it wasn't a bride's wedding dress that this happened to. Don't go to June's unless you want a stained dress and to be made fun of by the workers.
