Junior Achievement (JA) is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a global economy, plan for their future career, and make informed academic and economic choices. Founded locally in 1950, Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington is an affiliate of Junior Achievement USA which has been a national leader for nearly 100 years in preparing young people for their economic futures. Today, JA reaches more than 4.8 million students per year in 109 markets across the United States, with an additional 5.8 million students served in operations in 120 countries worldwide.
Junior Achievement of Oregon and SW Washington inspires and prepares young people for success through hands-on programs that promote work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
