I've been looking into this place for a few weeks now. I had an amazing dog trainer before but, now that I'm new to Reno I'm looking for a new place and my dogs need some follow up Training. Unfortunately, I saw a video that they posted today on Facebook and I was appalled. They wrote, "to get results with some of our dogs, that means we have to put them in situations that pushes their limits. Ranger (German Shepherd) and Dexter (Pit/ Lab mix) are two of our Red Dogs here. Both are highly reactive and aggressive toward other dogs as well as people..." While the caption seems normal, the video of these two dogs walking side by side on the treadmill made me want to cry. Dexter, the dog on the right, had a leash that was tied down to the treadmill so tight that there was tension on the leash during the entire video. How can you expect an aggressive dog to get any better with people or other dogs if you have tension around its neck the entire time. I'm not bashing the pinch collar, but I'm pretty sure it's not being used properly. Seems to me that these trainers are just holding/choking the dog so it doesn't have the chance to get to the other dog. I would NEVER recommend this company after looking through their posts the last couple weeks.

K9 Games Reno is a very innovative concept for dog owners. It is exciting to see how much they have evolved!

This place has a fantastic facility however they lack qualified trainers that know what they are doing. The owner claims she is a behavior specialist however isn't certified. They claim to be able to help your dogs with day camp however the lack of knowledge in the owners and there assistants don't help the dogs it only tires them out and that fools people into thinking there dogs are getting something out of it. Any dog that is tired is going to behave better. I watched them walk a big dog with the leash wrapped around their waste......total accident waiting to happen and any one that knows anything about obedience knows that is a big no no. Just like wrapping a leash around your hand is a no. I think they have a lot of potential in this facility but lack the knowledge to really get it off the ground and running properly. Good luck to them.

Fantastic place and trainer Susan Kijowski is amazing! Life changing for us. Now we can take our dog everywhere and people cannot believe how well behaved she is for being only 8 months old. Thank you Susan and staff!!
