Kadampa Meditation Center Philadelphia

I came here as a skeptic in search of what this whole "mindfulness" trend was all about. I found I have been living my life without an essential tool that can help me focus and be happy in my day to day. If you are looking for a place to try out meditation this is worth a try. I personally started with a day I found interesting off the schedule and haven't stopped going since.

Welcoming atmosphere. The teachings I've received here have helped me tremendously in enhancing my meditation skills as well as beginning to overcome my attachments and anger.

Crooks. They will lie to you and try to cheat you of your money. They said first session was supposed to be free and charged me at the end. They are a bunch of thieving quacks.

this is the most amazing place to learn how to meditate. I had no idea what i was doing when i first started to come and i felt that the instructions were easy and clear..

I started to go to the Amitayus kadampa center over a year ago. At the center I have been able to learn very important lessons regarding Buddhism and meditation. It has help me incredible and I have been able to meet amazing people. Great place.
