Kadampa Meditation Center Texas

What a beautiful place! My only complaint is that this is located in downtown in the West End directly next to the Aquarium. In the meditation center you are really put to the test because it is very noisy with the outside sounds (children screaming and animals making noises) especially on Saturday mornings. If you can get past that, the lectures and meditations are great. Friendly staff and friendly people.

Absolutely love this place. The people are so kind and welcoming. The classes are incredible. You don't have to be Buddhist to attend, or even desire to be. If you want to learn to be happy, decrease your stress and live a better life, you should definitely check this place out. I always leave with this noticeable sense of peace that I didn't have when I got there!

Every bit of the experience provided at Kadampa was conducive to a state of feeling very peaceful and joyful. I was lucky enough to attend a weekend retreat and I cannot wait to return. The space, people, and teachings are all lovely :)

If you're interested in meditation or Buddhism then this place is perfect. Everyone is warm and open. Everyone is welcome.
