Black garlic miso ramen is fantastic, as well as the crab miso ramen, I highly recommend this place They also have local craft beers here by Shaka Brewing, which are the bomb.
Black Garlic Miso! First time ever I’ve ever had this. I tried spicy version, and man, it has nice kick in its broth. Special experience I had, and I would love to come back and try other types.
Nice ramen and yakisoba noodles. Love the veggie toppings!! The food are not too salty and not over-seasoning.Food: 5/5
Tried the regular miso ramen and felt it could use more taste. Nice ambience and opens later than most things around the plaza. They have plenty of selections for both food and alcohol.Recommended dishesKaraage Chicken
Fast service and good food. I usually get the black garlic miso spicy. Comes at a good price with a fair amount of toppings, including a whole soft boiled egg. Chicken karaage is pretty good too. This is quickly becoming my go-to ramen place!
Quick lunch as the shop was very welcoming even it was 2pm, closing time. Ramen was good but I dun know why I ordered karaage and Naanban. Guess wanted to taste the diff
Good ramen n appetizer, worth to try if u want to eat ramen...Food: 5/5
Love the black garlic ramen and Yakisoba. The noodle itself for yakisoba is great, chewy and not soft at all
Kahoo is one of those places I frequent when I was in college until they became Zero Ramen. Now they are back with new chefs and menu things are just different from what I used to know. The waitress is the same lady from before but what miss the most is their Kokomaru Shoyu ramen. Below is the Black Garlic Shoyu and Karrage that is just massive.
There may not be a lot of seats, but my fiancé and I were able to sit at the counter as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, much like a lot of ramen shops I've been to in Japan. The food was also delicious! Although the best part was how attentive the staff were. I can't believe I hadn't been here till now, even though I've been living in San Jose for several years!
