Story

Kam’s door’s opened in 1988 as a neighborhood restaurant, and still remains a neighborhood gem for the loyal locals. Family owned and operated, we work to provide an atmosphere that is both relaxed and comfortable. We have our special blend of East and West and mix modern with the traditional. Just like you are at a good friend’s home, ‘rushed’ is the last thing you will feel here.

Our kitchen is where we bring you a savory array of Pan-Asian dishes as well as familiar Chinese comfort food done right. Virtually every single item, sauce, taste on our menu is fresh and from scratch.

Centrally located in the historic Montrose District and next to the Museum District and Medical Center, our customers range from the artistic inclined to the growing family and everyone in between. We have even had the pleasure to welcome a President and a celebrity or two.
