My neighbors and I just experienced a loss of power for nearly 24 hours in this heat due to a car crash with a pole. These guys are great! Some of them were here for 20hours!!! Everyone was extremely determined to restore the service. Super job, I thank them!!!

I never have had a any problems with the staff, everyone I've had to talk to rather on the phone or in person has alway been very professional considering the amount of people they have to deal with. But the company itself is just one big ripoff in my opinion.
Update: 4 /8/2018 Like I said up above this company is 1 just one big ripoff I moved from a 3 level house where 4 people live there, to a Ranch style home with no basement and it's just me and my bill is just as high from the last house complete RIPOFF😣

I do like this power company much much better then KCP&L! Hands down! They do same day turn on. You don't have to wait for them to come out to your home because they can do it from the building! They are very lenient when it comes to shut off dates. They give you a notice if not paid by but still give you a couple days after that! They are on top of any power outages that may happen. I like that no matter the time of night, if you call after hours with an emergency they will return your call promptly. As for the people who work in the office, not very friendly at all. Some are just down right rude! Honestly a price I am willing to deal with any day over dealing with KCP&L!

Antiquated customer service model. You have to wait in multiple lines to see different agents to complete even simple transactions. One agent should be able to handle all my needs. Their website sucks. It's slow, the layout is not visually appealing or intuitive and many times the business transaction cannot be done online so you have to go to the office anyway.

I haven't moved in to my new apartment yet, but all I needed was one call with this company. The wait times are just as bad as everyone says, mine was around 40 minutes. The customer service though is terrible, the lady started of well, but clearly didnt give a single damn about my issues. Managers at such a place should probably do a better job at hiring staff, Im pretty sure they get paid enough to do a decent job.
