Watch-out for dangerous weaving skater. Ice-skating should be fun, instead of getting hit by a speedy weaving skater (adult). The public session rules on display and on the web site is just for show without enforcement at the ice rink. Skating staff on-duty was notified, and they recognized the speedy weaving skater who interferes with other skaters, especially little skaters. However, no action was attempted to enforce the rules or prevent a possible accident. - At least one KC-Center staff should occasionally monitor the safety of the ice rink during public session and promptly enforce the skating rules. The ice skating rules should be clearly posted at the ice rink and include the skating direction and skating etiquette. - Although this ice rink is old, small, and untidy, we want to support business in our community. However, public sessions are limited, only one session per day during 9.00 – 11.30 am weekdays and 1.00 – 3.00 pm weekends. Public session is not for people who work during the week.

Best place to Skate in Kansas. Public skate in winter is wonderful and a (sometimes two) full ice rink. Kids and adults can enroll in hockey leagues and figure skating lessons. And don't forget 6th best burger in Kansas.....or something like that

Best coaches you can find! Very encouraging and knowledgeable. Everything is kind of expensive to play and the building itself needs some major work. The ice skating and hockey coaches make this place what it is. If the building was in better shape or if the sports sessions were cheaper it would be 5 stars.

We visited this place during an open session skate. There are 2 rinks. One is outdoors. We rented skates and skated for a couple hours. It was a fun time. We will definitely return next year.
