Stopped in to shop away from Hilton Village. Great place to pick up groceries and even gifts for friends and family. No too crowded, very easy to navigate to when driving. Friendly staff, visitors and residents alike. Had a great time. I had to remind my wife that we were not close to home. The basket was filling up. Smile. We're on vacation. Follow me for some great times and ideas...check out this view.
We were only at the shopping center to do some grocery shopping while here on vacation. We visited the Safeway grocery store and were very pleased with that. It is a large store with just about all needed options covered in one place. The only issue with this shopping center is the parking as the lot is nearly always full as we have driven by there multiple times during our visit.
This Safeway has the new frozen pizzas imported from Italy...Paul Newman "STONE FIRED" there are two flavors: Margherita and four cheese...don't overcook, follow directions...real Buffalo mozzarella! Delicious! No nasty chemicals like other frozen pizzas. Also, since I have been in food and wine for years: Safeway has "reserve" tomato sauces in tall jars with black labels that are beyond very expensive jarred tomato sauces in specialty stores! Plus just now they have their own brand of balsamic glaze at $6.99 good but Nonna brand at $10.00 is the best balsamic glaze by far. This Nonna sp brand is very similar to $80.00 balsamic found in New York and of course Italy.
Lots of different stores and restaurants/bars. I just went to Safeway for groceries. It's not convenient to enter or exit with it being off a busy road without a traffic light to enter the strip mall.
Went into only Safeways. Worst Customer service and this was from their customer service desk. Staff bordering on rude and uninterested in helping or answering my request. Definitely will not use Safeways on future visits to Hawaii.
Safeway is always my first stop whenever I arrive in Hawaii. I can buy snacks, drinks, and more.
Really nice little shopping/dining area. The center is mostly filled with Safeway and dining areas but it is a great place to come. I highly recommend parking on the upper floor. Above Safeway is additional parking that always has spots available and it is so much easier than fighting for one on the ground floor. There are elevators and stairs at both ends of the upper parking for easy access to the ground floor.
Fancy and clean. There are many nice place like CPK Starbucks and sushi place.
The most expensive prices I have ever seen, $12 for a pound of bacon. I'm going to Walmart.
Great grocery store and eateries in the plaza. Very convenient for locals and tourists being so close to Waikiki.
