Story

Amateur golfers will revel in following the footsteps of great champions such as Greg Norman and Annika Sorenstam at Kapolei, which hosted the LPGA Tour’s Ladies Hawaiian Open from 1996 to 2001. Designed by architect Ted Robinson, best known for Sahalee Country Club, Kapolei is highly regarded for its magnificent beauty, floral gardens and strategic golf holes. Meandering over 190 rolling acres of a former sugar cane plantation, Kapolei’s elevated greens, 80 bunkers and five lakes provide delightful tactical challenges. Kapolei is highly regarded, rating 4 1/2 stars out of five on Golf Digest’s Places to Play listing and earning the Honolulu Star Advertiser’s People’s Choice Award as “Best Course on Oahu” in 2014.

The apps were delicious. They have great hot teas! The saon was really good except that it was served in white sauce which didn't match it at all. But the fried rice is really good too. Amazing views!
Sand trap was closed in practice area. Driving range in good condition. You can purchase range balls with credit card
Fred, Tj and Aaron are cool guys. If you talk story with them they'll give you the time of day. Always ready to pick up your baskets for you and sometimes, Fred likes to see your swing and tell you nice swing or nice hit. Price is reasonable.
This is a really awesome golf course. Lots of water to navigate over/around, perfect fairways, and excellent quick greens that roll true. I’ve played all over the island during the last 6 months and while Kapolei’s local rate is a little higher than others, it’s totally worth it.
Great golf course but currently had some construction going on... so some of the hazards were drained and a bit stinky from the algae. But any other time its an awesome course.
Challenging course and always in top shape. Great course layout and their greens always Roll True. Slightly tough for beginners but a great challenge for mid to low handicappers. Tradewinds only add to the challenge, especially if you have a later Tee time. A beautiful golf course that will appeal to all golfers.
