Karstadt Taekwondo

We're very proud to have a student of Master Karstadt's. Our son is younger but there are students of all ages in the classes & during Covid he has offered virtual attendance. Master Karstadt is a very positive person but he also preaches and expects respect, courtesy, effort and the students respond. TKD is a good skill to learn, a fun way to get exercise even in the summer and Master Karstadt is a legendary teacher to learn from this is not conjecture -- he was recently nominated for a Lifetime Contribution award in the ITF Hall Of Fame. We found Karstadt Taekwa-Do through an introductory rate he offers and there are also camps from time-to-time on self defense, breaking boards, anti-bullying that are beneficial even if you're not a full-time student.

We have had the best experience here. My 7 year old son loves it and they really are able to teach the kids respect by modeling what that means. All of the instructors are awesome and the kids get individual attention. My son looks forward to continuing his studies here and starting the black belt program!

This is by far the best taekwondo studio in phx. My son has been to other places for taekwondo, and karstadt is #1. The personalized attention to my 8 yrs old son is so important. I am so grateful to the staff for all they do to help my boy succeed, not just in the art of taekwondo, but everyday life challenges as well.

This is such a wonderful place for kids. More than a martial arts school, they teach imortant values like discipline and respect. The teachers, especially Mr. Martin are really caring and exceptional. So glad we found Karstadt Tae Kwon Do!

Great place for people of all ages to learn a martial art. Instructors are all very nice and are extremely skilled. There is not a better place in Arizona to srudy Taekwon-Do

My experience learning taekwondo here has been excellent. My instructor is patient and knowledgeable I didn't think at my age I could learn something new like this. Taekwon!
