Wow! The service was so good! The gentleman serving us was so friendly and delivered great service! The food was so good. The dishes were huge! I recommend this place if you want delicious coffee, homemade food and friendly people! There is also a gift shop full of handmade items!
Good food and great service. Had the spinach and mushroom omelet with hashbrowns and homemade biscuit and homemade jam. Everything was good, but the homemade jam was delicious. Looking forward to trying new flavors during summer. Also look forward to trying some of the honey they sell. Definaltly a place to revisit.
One of my personal Favorites!! Staff is Courteous and Accommodating ~ Great Breakfast!! Good Size portions and Always Tasty ~ Very Cool Atmosphere ~ to top it off, Katie's has an assortment of gifts for purchase, including some Deeeeelicious home-made/handmade, specialty and organic treats for sale To-Go as well ~ Love Katie's ~ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The food was not the best and nothing special By any means. I ordered a “linguisa omelette” which literally only had 3 small pieces of linquisa on it. I confronted the waiter who took it back to a female manager/possible owner who denied the fact there was too little meat in it but after a short discussion with the waiter and showing him, he brought me a few additional pieces of meat. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich in which she stated the bacon tasted ransid. The place is very run down, dirty and aged, and just not a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely will not be going back.
Very friendly family restruant with really really good food. Lots of other great items to purchase. Besides the the great breakfast, we bought two quilts and a bottle of honey. Stop by you won't regret it.
This is the strangest experience I've had in a restaurant. The customer service here is just off the wall. The young pudgy man with glasses just kind of throws things on your table when you request it. He spilled coffee on my boyfriend's hand and said sorry AS he was walking away. He had an exchange of words with a customer in front of the manager I manager. There are no friendly greeting you would expect from an establishment this small. The guy is actively discouraging people from eating here now. Literally sent away several people telling them their food would be an hour wait because there are 2 large parties. So do they not make small orders in between large orders? You cant make 2 plates until a table of 10 is served? What? The food is okay. Very bland. Some things were cold and the coffee is weak. I had to add more salt and pepper on everything. I will never come here again solely because of the oddball who knows nothing about working as a waiter.
I really enjoyed breakfast here! Mostly the coffee. Most diners have terrible coffee but the coffee here was perfect for dinner coffee. Also the owner was extremely kind and made sure we were very happy. Great service.
Family owned, has delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The owner was there and gave us great service. A cool plus, they carry beautiful hand made quilts, we bought two..
Oof, this place is really bad... I ordered over hard eggs, and they came to me with a texture reminiscent of rubber. The biscuits and gravy were... Something. The biscuits were OBVIOUSLY from a can. They had that very distinct "canned biscuit" flavor, and were chewy. My husband's burger was the quality of frozen, mass quantity meat. You'd honestly be better off going to the Burger King down the street. It was rough. The Mayo packet on the side really added to the "high quality" feel.. lol. Also, I paid $10 for 2 rubbery eggs, frozen biscuits with packet gravy, and a diced banana. Foul and pricey!
Service was slow but that's because there was only 1 waiter so it wasnt his fault. Food was not good, the omelettes were greasy. And not worth the $12+ price tag. The water was fresh though and the fruit was tasty.
