Kebab Gyros Pita bar

I worked in Metro Center for many years, and I ate many lunches here. I always loved the food. I happened to be in the area today, and had my favorite, the marinated chicken plate. The chicken is cooked to perfection, served w/ salad (&/or tabouli) rice pilaf, and fresh pita bread. Their sauce is to die for. I love the updated look of the restaurant. The staff are as friendly and welcoming as ever. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Be sure to keep an eye on the register. They will try to charge more than menu price. I've eaten here consistently over the past two years, and it's happened more than once. The woman at the register tries to argue before a manager (?) acknowledges the mistake and corrects the price. Today was the last time. I won't be going there again. I can get a watery salad anywhere.

Food is good but when I decide to eat here I have to really want it because just thinking of the wait is enough to deter and I make another choice. It takes FOREVER every visit! They move with no sence of urgency, even during the lunch rush. If you have 20-30 min to wait whether its packed or not then this is your place.

For some reason their expensive gyro wraps come w nothing in them other than meat and a few peppers and mushrooms. It was pretty dry.

This place is always packed, because the food is great, the portions are great, and the service is great! Authentic flavors and recipes. I try to come here as often as I can for lunch break from work.
