Their food is great! Affordable and copious! I'm Indian myself and can discern what is authentic and what isn't, and I give them thumbs up. Surprisingly quick delivery too. Due to this we rented the place for a dinner event. It was a big success. Everyone loved the food. Everything was done efficiently on time. No stress, no hassles - we could socialize and not worry about the rest. Very good experience with them.
This place is a great addition to the area!! Being a newbie to Indian food, I've always asked the staff questions about the food and even asked for their recommendations. I've been here several times now and I've ordered something new off the menu everytime. I've never been disappointed. The staff is kind, friendly and they're knowledgeable about all the food on the menu. The food is fresh and always made to order which makes me feel that they care about the food they serve. I liked the food so much I've gotten my family and coworkers to eat there and they enjoy it too. I highly recommend this place. I will continue to support this local business!
I got the 3 piece fried chicken and they made me wait 20 minutes when they said 15. The chicken was horrible and was gray inside. It was in a ocean of oil. Absolutely disgusting. As a food reviewer, your place will be shut down. This is disgusting. You should be ashamed. You call this food, I call this not food. I am disappointed. Wait until I talk with my adviser about this. NO ONE SHOULD GO HERE.
Put an order for shish kebab platter with french fries to pick up. When I get there the guy puts in Square for chicken kebab. I’ve had my previous order messed up, so I made sure with him that he has my order for shish kebablamb and not chicken kebab. He says he has the shish kebab platter. I go home and open my food its chicken... I call them to let them know they messed up my order. The guy tells me that “the chicken kebab and shish kebab platter is the same meat same everything” The menu says otherwise, shish kebablamb cubesand chicken kebabchicken breast cubes, and the past 6 months I’ve ordered from here. Good try lieing. Also, I’ll throw in the fact that the food came late. The food is good. But the service has been bad. Good luck with the business, but I won’t be coming again.
I really liked the vegetarian dishes we ordered for lunch, like the samosas, onion naan, and some spinach dish that I can’t remember. The sauces were delicious. My friend loved the tandoori chicken, too. They will bring out real utensils with your food, so you don’t have to use the plastic ones. The decor lacks warmth but will definitely be back for the food!
We had orderd the Traditional Chicken Tikka Masala and the Mysore Style Bhuna Lamb and Naan for delivery. The food was absolutely delicious!!! I was highly surprised for this amazing price! Food amazing! Price great! One little thing that botherd us was the portion of the rice, it could have been more rice. But good to know next time we will get an extra rice! We will absolutely order again! Soooo gooood !!!
Located in McGinley Square, a short walk from Journal Square Transportation Center. Extensive menu of Indian, American, and Indo-Chinese food. I ordered Indian food meat platter w/ mint sauce on side; rice w/ yogurt; bread and was very pleased with taste and presentation. The friendly proprietor is helpful to guide based on your desire e.g. spicy vs. non-spicy. The dessert selections are enticing, and I enjoyed a rice pudding and lassi. The lunch specials on the menu look good, too. There are ample vegetarian offerings as well. Quality-to-price ratio is excellent -- a great value. Recommended!
I ordered Philly steak and chicken steak with kheema naan. The food quality was horrible. The naan was not given with the yogurt dressing so I had to just eat the plain naan. Also, the steak sandwiches were made as if the ingredients were just dumped on the bread and was honestly so bland! I was so disappointed as I saw great reviews and ordered it. I guess the reviews are fake! P.S ordered via uber eats
Great food, great staff. When you order from the menu you can you choose the level of spice. First time there and we don't really eat Indian. It surpassed our expectations, would go again.
I ordered an Italian Cheeseburger. They made it like a regular cheeseburger. There wasn’t enough meant or fries on the burger. The meat was halves of each other rather than full patties. The mayo over powered everything. I was eating more bread than anything. This is the second time this has happened to me and a 4 month time span. Google won’t let me post the pic If that wasn’t bad enough, the man at the cashier shorted me out of my money. An Italian CheeseBurger costs $4.50. He said with tax included it was $5.32. I paid $10.50. He gave me back $3.70. I SHOULD have got back $5.18. He didn’t apologize to me once or anything to that nature but rather tried to fact check me then rush me off to the side to help the Indian people. I feel as if he discriminated against me. I’m a BLACK college student at Saint Peter’s University who came in. He treated the three Indian people before me. Not only that he didn’t give me my receipt, but ran to the Indian woman to give her hers and apologized continuously. They just lost a customer. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again.
