My mother was at her wits’ end caring for my father. She kept it up 24-7 as his condition worsened and refused overnight help. She spoke to many places and kept saying that it didn’t feel right, or that people didn’t seem to care enough about their needs, but rather their business. Then we discovered Keepsake Companion. Holy cow- Amy went above and beyond to make my mother feel at ease and within minutes my mother was booking caregivers. Each nurse has been exceptional and the level of care and assistance far better and more comforting than we could have imagined. They are excellent, proactive communicators, always checking in and Amy works side by side with our family to ensure that my parents are getting what they need. My mom is actually sleeping 5 hours a night - peacefully! This was the best decision we made and the pricing is straightforward. Plus, if we need to put my father in a facility for whatever reason, they have all the skinny on every facility and can negotiate pricing for you.
I have used Keepsake Companions services for several years. My mother has high needs and each caretaker has been understanding, cooperative, and kind. I have even run into times where my mother’s personal provider could not show up for her shift. I called Amy and she was able to send a caretaker to cover the shift the same day. I strongly recommend this reliable service!
Keepsake Companions have been my lifeline this year!!! Amy and her team have literally stepped in to be there when I could not and soo much more! They met my moms specific needs and there were many and my desire of having professional, loving caregivers provide the companionship and care my mom needs during this season. The kindness and care that they approached our family during this difficult time. Amy has spent much time on the phone with me, listening and directing me. We are so thankful for her and her team! They are very resourceful and have helped us with the other needs we have had, always going above and beyond. Sometimes as a family, we couldn’t meet the needs of my mother but I always knew she was in the best of hands with Keepsake Companions. Keepsake was great to work with. I initially worked with Amy and she was so nice and sincere about getting my grandmother what she needed, she really worked with us to find the right fit. We were nervous to take this step but all of the caregivers we have worked with over the last few months have all been great and very professional. Advancare thanks again for your expertise during a very stressful time for our family. Your patience and communication really made this experience less chaotic for us. I have been a customer of Amy’s for many years. My husband and I have MS, and we go through periods where we need light housekeeping help, cooking, etc. Every caregiver she has sent us has been exceptional, honest, and hardworking. They literally become members of the family. I have found Keepsake to be flexible and responsive to our needs, and I highly recommend them!
