I’m now craving these fancy chocolates after visiting Kehr’s charming little candy corner in The Milwaukee Public Market recently. I treated myself to an assortment from the fancier filled section, and was pleased they also had the fun and colorful stuff to take home to my daughter. She loved their gummy worms. My fave was the pear-dipped-chocolate. The warm candied pecans and cashews were divine. And the packaging for them was even cuter! The young man helping me at the counter was so patient and possibly sweeter than the chocolates!

Great classic chocolates. Love to see the giant Easter treats. My favorite here is the malted milk balls! Great selection of classic type candies. Most are very sweet milk chocolate; not a rich dark chocolate. Fun place to stop and try something.
It is a tradition for my family to ask you Kehr’s Candies for chocolates on special days. Our order for Christmas arrived incomplete. The Mint Meltaway chocolates were missing, so we notified Kehr’s customer service and two weeks later, they delivered the missing chocolates in a new shipment. However, the meltaways they sent were COMPLETELY MELTED see picture and so we threw them in the thrash . How uncomfortable it was to receive the below response from Kehr’s see screenshot when they were at fault. They are taking no responsibility. It is sad and outrageous after having supported this business for a long time because the chocolates are of great quality, but their customer service response is grotesque and irresponsible.
Kehrs is a staple of Milwaukee. My only complaint is finding parking! Their candies and ice cream are dangerously addicting. I always buy the sea salt cover caramels for my fiance but secretly I am buying them for me...
Found the Holland mints here that I've been searching for- great holiday treats! I'll be back!
I highly recommend this chocolate shop it's the best I've ever seen!
I have been a lifelong customer at Kehr's and am always impressed by the quality of the products and the care that the staff puts into creating these handmade products. As I live in California now, I use the online shop to get my Kehr's fix, and today I received my Mother's Day/Graduation chocolate order. Not only did the order come in early, but it also contained not one, not two, but THREE cold packs and insulating packaging to keep the chocolates in great condition for their cross-country journey. I'd recommend Kehr's to anyone visiting their storefront or ordering online. The chocolates are incredible and you know that your business will be supporting a family business with a deep respect for tradition and quality.
DONT BUY HERE I bought a couple pieces of candy for a very small amount and she took my card and tapped my credit card on the ipad. Later that day I found fraudulent charges for over $700 on the same credit card I used. Considering this was the only place in this window of time I used the card, DONT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS.
First time I went to the original store on 3400 W. North Ave no longer there I was amped up by a local review. And the products themselves were very good they just didn't hit the high quality mark. The current review focuses on the location on Water St. In the Milwaukee Public Market. By all appeareces and taste it's still the same chocolates and candies. The chocolate is very good but it still doesn't hit the highest notes for me. It is definitely worth a trip and purchase. They carry seasonal treats as as the Midwest staple Turtles. Also an ever increasing number of sugar free products.
