My 1st time here and the experience is wonderful. Walking in felt very inviting all most like I was at home. Their hot tea brought back wonderful memories of my Mom's tea she would make when I was younger. And the Koshary was delicious. And the music sets the mood.
My wife just had to take me here. She came a few weeks ago and hasn’t stopped talking about the wonderful owner and his great food. I came in and immediately felt welcomed and at home. The decor is like you walked into a Mediterranean marketplace. Vibe, music, incredible food, and hospitality. We will be regulars and you all should be as well!!!
Everything about this place is perfect! The decor, the attention to detail in the food. The chef, Vincente, clearly puts love in the food and I’m definitely coming back for it. Stop reading this review and try this place! One piece of advice, if you order the quesadilla, make sure you finish it! You’ll be stuffed but your stomach will be happy you enjoyed it while it was fresh
I heard twice about Kenz from my American friends until I reached out to talk to the Egyptian owner whom I heard great things about. We ended up hosting our Egyptian gathering there and we booked the restaurant for us 50 people. Abdalla and his wife and staff did a great job. The food was beyond amazing. Delicious Koshary, paella, lamb, Om Ali dessert… I totally recommend the place, the buffet and it also makes a great place to host small private events which I am planning to do soon. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly
First off, my sister and I happened here by a fluke. We googled Mediterranean food and Kenz popped up. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The owner greeted us with a very warm welcoming and was very personable. There are cards that you choose your selection from and then the cook begins his duty! The food was fresh and hot off the grill. Come out and support this family owned gem! The prices are very reasonable so you won't break the bank. Also there was a lady who played the harp! Such a treat! You won't be disappointed! Please try the hot tea--great flavor!
This is my favorite place to eat, I love coming here after work and I even came for my birthday. The food is always fresh and tasty, before I moved to Houston I didn’t care for Mediterranean food and since I started to come here I cannot get enough of it. If there were more stars to give I would.
I moved here from Los Angeles last year I tried several Mediterranean Restaurants this by far sticks out as the best I had in Houston so far. It’s so Goood I had the Greek Pita Gyro the Flavors OMG this is the real deal. I will definitely be coming back. And the Hott Tea is to die for so good it was all so good.
So happy we randomly decided to pop in. The food was fresh and great portions! The samosas were so good, we had to ask for more after our appetizers and entrees! My best friend really loved the mint tea!!
I found this place randomly, and I absolutely love the place. The owner was incredibly polite and the food was great. I took him up on trying the hot Egyptian tea and loved it! I typically don't like hot tea, but this was stuff was great! Pricing was slightly cheaper than I expected for this area and I was served more than enough food for my lunch. I plan to come back here on my next visit to Houston.
Absolutely amazing service, unique decor that takes you back to Egypt. What is better than to eat great food and experience another world. Food was great with old world hospitality.
