Kettering Bike Shop

Even though there is a shortage on bikes right now they are working hard to repair bikes. They are reasonably priced and knowledgeable in most aspects. They helped my son get fitted properly for his helmet. If you want to get into biking definitely come and check this place out!!! The staff is very friendly and to talk to.

I just bought a Marlin 5 from this establishment and my experience was fantastic. The associate who helped me was Dale and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in every way. He was very polite and I will be definitely coming back for anything bike related needs in the future.

Really great team here that is helpful and willing to work to get you a great bike that fits well and meets your needs. Nothing but great experiences! Really great to have a nice local shop just down the street.

Fantastic shop with A+ service. They know they can't beat internet pricing but they more than make up for it with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Every time I leave I feel like I was treated top notch, and happy to spend my money there.

Pretty much knew what I wanted, but Dale was incredibly helpful answering my questions on newer Specialized MB's...he spent a half hour with me before making the purchase...

I cannot put into words how grateful, pleased, and overall excited I am to have dealt with the Kettering Bike Shop. Back in September 2020, I walked into the store looking to pick up a Trek bike, not knowing much other than the brand I wanted and what colors I liked. I was kindly greeted by a couple of the shop's associates and shown around the different models they had and was given a 20 mins crash course on what I should consider as far as functionality, price, weight, etc. Not ONCE was I pushed into buying a bike. Not even ONCE. Our conversation was so natural and easy-going that I lost track of time and left without buying anything, because I had some research to do. I decided to return the next day, after having picked the Dual Sport 3, and inquired about it. Unfortunately, it was back ordered for several months but was placed on a waiting list. Fast forward to the end of November 2020, I was contacted about my dream bike having arrived to the store, but I was currently deployed in the middle east, unable to pick it up. The Kettering Bike Shop not only understood my situation but PUT IT ON HOLD for me, without me even having to ask for such a favor. Like, what kind of business goes entirely out of its way and risks a for sure sale just to try to accommodate a single customer who may or not buy it later? The Kettering Bike Shop does, THAT'S WHO! Fast forward to today January 8th 2021, my friend is picking up my bike since I won't be able to return home for another three months. I didn't even get a call to "remind me about paying for the bike". I legitimately just wanted to give them my money! Their excellent customer service, yes, EXCELLENT, A-1, PRIMO SUPREME, customer service has earned my money and eternal gratitude. I hope my bike never has any issues, but I know where I'll be taking it if it ever need work on it. Kettering and Dayton folks, give THIS business your money.

Great service and great people! I needed pedals to go with my cycling shoes and Chris was quick to solve the riddle. Highly recommended!

In August of 2019 I went to Kettering Bike Shop on the recommendation of my son Steve, who had purchased a bike a year or two earlier. He was very happy with his Trek FX2. I bought a Trek FX1 and a number of accessories. As of today 6/16/2022 I've ridden 5400 miles, I'm on my third set of tires and I've had very few operational issues. Tom and his staff are the best! They're friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to spend the time necessary to fit you with the proper equipment and get you back on the road as quick as possible when you need service. Don't buy a bike without taking a look at the Kettering Bike Shop.

My experience at the Kettering Bike Shop was so refreshing. In upgrading from my 13 year old bike I had a lot to learn. I was treated with patience and kindness, and for that I’m so grateful! A wonderfully run, family owned shop I highly recommend!

We had a great bike buying experience! Took my two sons and Dale picked out bikes that were size-appropriate, explained the details of how the bikes should fit, taught the boys how to use the gears. Checked the boys helmets for fit and outfitted the bikes with water bottle holders, water bottles, lights, and bells. Boys got to test drive the bikes in the parking lot. They even offer a buy back program when the boys outgrow their bikes. One stop shopping and exceptional service! And with how quickly these weeds are growing, we'll be back!
