Kick Back Jack's BC CAFE

First off, the food was good, big portions like everyone says. But, when i was seated at the booth by the kitchen with my friends, their son was standing on the seat and going to sit down when the seat literally fell off landing under the table. Luckly their son fell backwards instead of going forward where he could have hit the table and i was able to get him out. The manager took us to another booth and gave the son a free waffle. Later i noticed my cup of coffee had pink lipstick around the rim of my cup.. I was not wearing lipstick. The waitress brought me a different cup. As we were leaving we noticed that they did not close off that booth, a couple were already seated there. Hopefully they fix that seat before someone hurts themselves! Other than that, the food was good and the waitress was very attentive.

Inhospitable. I visit breakfast cafe's quiet often on weekends, and whenever the hostess makes you feel unwelcome, that is a tell take sign the rest of the dining experience will follow the same pattern. Lo and behold, yet again I was right. I asked to be sat alone at a table and she gave me this puzzled look and asked if I wanted a counter seat instead..I said no and she, again, looked puzzled as to why I'd want a table to myself. It wasn't even that busy, the other half of the cafe was empty. So there was no excuse for debating the reasoning behind my request. I was sat and once my waitress came by she was sweating and looked very stressed. That type of demeanor tends to get passed along to your guests and she did exactly that to me. I'd rather go to the BC Cafe in Claremont. They have the science of basic customer service down.

Low-Fat Yogurt and Fruit High Energy breakfast is sprinkled with big chunks of granola. Is refreshing and satisfying great flavor combination. Was able to call it in and was ready when I arrived.

The food was very good. Large portions. The homefries were excellent. The only issue was, the cold and annoyed hostess. She would be better cleaning the bathrooms. Sour face and disposition. No charm or customer service skills. She is the first encounter to the business. That position should have a person with a welcoming bubbly personality. She was the only problem there. We were in better spirits once the waitress came to the table. We no longer regretted driving from San Bernardino to eat breakfast there.

I order links skillet scrambled eggs. There was less egg more potatoes and green peppers diced. I think they shouldn't dice the veggies and add more eggs deep fry potatoes. I think there is too much hype here. Maybe there other breakfast plates are better.
