[ Overall Review ] Five stars for Dr. Kim and his staff! My family and I have been patients at Dr. Kim’s practice since 2006 and we have been extremely pleased with Dr. Kim’s care and the care of his staff. I have recommended Dr. Kim to friends and colleagues over the the past 17 years and continue to do so.  [ Dr. Kim ] Dr. Kim is kind and he is great with his patients. He provides simple explanations of any dental work that needs to done. He also does not insist on any non-necessary additional work, nor encourage us to spend on any extras. The last dentist I saw, before coming to Dr. Kim, had asked me to pay thousands of dollars out-of-pocket for a procedure that Dr. Kim was able to resolve with insurance paying the vast majority of the cost; making our out-of-pocket very manageable.  [ Pediatric Dentist & Braces ] Although Dr. Kim does not advertise being a pediatric dentist, my two children started seeing Dr. Kim around age 3. From caring for their very first teeth to getting my 17 year-old son through braces and currently my daughter’s braces, Dr. Kim is the only dentist they have ever known. Dr. Kim is excellent with kids!  [ The Staff ] The staff at Dr. Kim’s is kind, communicative, helpful, and professional. They work hard to get us in and out, courteously, since most appointments we choose are during the school day.  When I have had to change appointment times unexpectedly, Tina, the office manager works with us and tries to accommodate us the best she can, which is a real help when juggling multiple children’s schedules!  [ The Space ] Dr. Kim’s dental practice is clean and welcoming. The waiting area is cozy and comfortable.  Thank you Dr. Kim and company!

Dr. Kim was a wonderful dentist who helped me when I was in a lot of pain and needed work done in an emergency. His office staff we professional and helped me get in and taken care of. Dr. Kim was very skilled and I was very happy with my results. My pain issue was taken care of and my dental work was perfect. I recommend Dr. Kim highly.

Dr. Kim is the best. I have been going to him since I was 5 years old! I moved to Chino Hills and I still come back to him after all these years. He's the most caring and personal doctor. He'll always ask how my newest life updates are going and just an all around great person. Thanks Dr. Kim and staff for all you do! Highly recommend him.

I am 72 yrs. old, and have had the opportunity to be treated by Dentists over the years.  Dr. John H. Kim is the most talented of all I have encountered. His abilities are enhanced by his kindness and "beyond the call of duty "occasions that  have rescued me from very painful occurrences.  I feel he deserves recognition and praise and I am happy to give my  voice to acknowledge him.

I went to Dr. Kim after a referral from a previous patient late 2015. Dr. Kim a general dentist recommended 2 route canals. He did not refer me out to a specialist he instead did the route canals himself. I have had pain every since he performed both. After going to an Endodontist it was said that both route canals are incomplete and therefore the pain. Dr. Kim's office refused to redo the canals free or accommodate me. So I am out of $3000 and again have to repay to have this done right. I have attempted to reconcile with office however they want to charge me additional monies to redo. I am going to launch an official complaint with Delta Dental because route canals are permanent and if not should last more than 3 years before charging someone again. I am so tired of shotty work and bad customer service!!!!

I have made two visits to his office and withoust reservation, I would definitely recommend this professional to anyone seeking expert advice and care as well as direction towards resolving sleep disorders and specifially relating to sleep apnea, TMJ and related diagnoses. Dr. Kim is a caring professional that devotes his full energies and wisdom to assisting patients with sleep related disorders . He is compassionate, knowlegeable and an expert in his field. I feel truly fortunate to have Dr. Kim as one of my medical providers. Dr. Allan Lifson
