Don’t go to this doctor!! He is doesn’t care! He doesn’t follow any procedures simple ones, working with insurance, so you never get any medicine! For painkillers I called almost every other day, asking for it! He works only 1 day a week, which means all your and insurance requests always move to this days, and… never done!! It’s like never ending circle with no results and help at all! All what he told me, when I ask him on his not working day, prescribe me painkillers, go to ER! Don’t waist your time and health! Stay away from him!
This doctor truly can care less for the people he treats. Every visit the lack of communication, doctor doesn't even look at the patient and not even reviewing the symptoms or issues. I have seen him for 2 years and changed my insurance due to a new job. My insurance company informed me he is covered but when I went to my scheduled appointment they told me they would not take me since their panel is closed. This doesn't mean anything to me as a patient. The doctor said he would not see me anymore and treated me like a new patient. He doesn't care for his patients to the point he will drop them. Terrible person, unloyal, and should not be in practice.
Doctor William Kim is the most incompetent doctor I’ve ever had the misfortune of seeing. During any and every appointment, he does nothing but face his computer screen and type, which makes absolutely no sense, because he hardly asks any questions. He also never shuts the door to the room, which is a major privacy concern. He prescribed me with Methotrexate, which caused my white blood cell count to get so low that I had a fever varying from 101.6-103.2 for almost a week. When asked what I could do to help improve my health, I was just instructed to stop the Methotrexate which I had already done weeks ago. My body had stopped making white blood cells, meaning that if I caught anything, such as influenza or pneumonia, my body would not have been able to fight it off, and I would have died. I had called 2-3 times a day during their work hours for 6 days before someone answered. The receptionists are not only incompetent, but incredibly rude to patients. Not just with me, but I’ve seen it with others as well. Doctor Kim does not care about anything but insurance money, which is why he refuses to prescribe his patients with anything that could be helpful to them. The other negative reviews are 100% valid. There’s a reason why we have had similar experiences.
Dr. Kim has always treated me nicely. I have been going to him for many years and have never had a problem. He is a kind man. His nurse Candi is very friendly and helpful as well.
Had my first appointment with Dr Kim this week and had a great experience. He spent over an hour with me gathering information, physically assessing and inputting all the labs and xrays I brought from my primary care doctor. He ordered additional labs to help with diagnosis along with additional xrays. Dr Kim is very knowledgeable in the area of autoimmune diseases and I feel confident that he will be able to diagnose and treat my condition. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews on here; however, I had a great experience and would recommend him to others.
I had to reschedule 1 appointment because my father passed away and Dr Kim sent me a letter saying he was no longer my doctor that I need to find a new RA. If I needed anything in the meantime to call his office. It takes three months at least to get into another RA when I called for help refilling my meds Dr Kim said he’s no longer my dr and wouldn’t help. I thought doctors were supposed to care about their patients he doesn’t have a caring bone in his body he’s a nasty man and not even a very good doctor. Other Doctors in Vegas say avoid him if I was you I would avoid seeing him and go to someone else
Horrible experience. The front office staff was rude, when they noticed I was still there they started whispering to each other. I waited longer than how long he was with me. He was asking me questions about my prior history when my old office sent him my information. Didn’t seem like he cared enough to review my chart before seeming me to even know a little about me.
This dr along with his medical staff are all incompetent and ridiculous. My moms insurance insisted we come here first he immediately told her he cant help her. Wasted 30 bucks on a copay for nothing and I explained the lady up front that we did not come here by choice and its like she understands nothing. but she went off on a rant about how my mom has liver problem. Um excuse no she does not and you have no clue about her medical history. She acts like she knows what shes talking about but has no damn clue about anything. She's awful!!! All of them have no idea what they are doing. I wish I could gove them a 0 star but they get one cause thats the only option I have.
The staff rarely answer the phone so it is difficult to get ahold of someone or make an appointment. When they do answer they can be a little abrupt. When I did see Dr. Kim, he was friendly and polite, but he told me it was too difficult to diagnose my autoimmune disease and to come back when I got worse. It wasn't what I hoped for.
My PCP referred me. When I called to make an appointment I was turned down because of a cancelled appointment back in September 2018. I tried to explain that this could not be possible since I was already seeing another rheumatologist since 2015 & he is retiring this month so I needed another rheumatologist. If they treat you this way then no thanks! I would not recommend this establishment.
