I had an appointment at 7 and I got there 10 minutes before but the place was closed and no one picked up the phone. I checked with them multiple times if they close before 8:30 and they said no. Not sure why this happened.

I've had a few professional massages, often on cruises, but also in neighborhood locations. However, this experience was definitely not what I am accostomed to. I booked a couples massage through Groupon one hour massage. When we checked in, they took us to separate rooms, which defeats the purpose of a couples massage. I was left in my room alone for a long time with no instructions. I wasn't sure if I should start undressing or wait for a consultation with my masseuse to talk about my preferences and their procedures. After a few minutes, I decided to undress and put on the robe that was hanging behind the door. I sat on the table for about fifteen minutes. When the masseuse entered, she was clearly in a rush. She spoke almost no English and made no attempt to find out anything about my preferences for the massage. Instead, she indicated that I should lay down and started working right away. She didn't even look away as I removed my robe, but just watched me undress, which felt very awkward. I attempted to explain that I wanted more pressure on my back and neck, but she didn't seem to understand. The entire massage was very light, and she avoided my lower body. She hardly touched my legs and feet and what little she did there was through a towel. She also stepped out of the room when she was about half way through my massage. When she came back, she didn't shut the door and I coud hear people talking loudly not sure if it was Chinese or Vietnamese on the hallway in front of the room. She finally shut the door, but even then I could still hear them talking. This was certainly not what I call a relaxing experience. When it was time to turn over, she lifted the towel and continued to watch me. It would have been very easy and more professional for her to avert her eyes and look away until I was ready to continue. Every other masseuse I've ever had has gone out of their way to offer complete privacy at all times, so I was quite unnerved by her behavior. She lifted the towel and watched four times. This entire experience was awkward and unprofessional.

I went here because I was having severe lower back pain and having issues walking. After one hour deep tissue I walked out without pain. Great work!
