Was one of the friends from the first Spanish Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Georgia. So many wonderful memories of this awesome congregation! Just lost a great sister whom was one of the pioneers who help to bring so many into Jehovah's organization and faithfully serve him for over 45 years of service. Sister Olga Gomez. She even to the end mentioned with such love her friends from Wieuca Spanish Hall

I visited this congregation on Sunday January, 31 for the 1:00 p.m. meeting. This the worst congregation I have ever visited! The brothers and sisters were not friendly and hospitable. No one came up to greet us after the meeting It was obvious we were vistors. I did not feel the warmth at all ; we got icy looks. Some one finally said something to us on the way out. It was disheartening because my daughter is a young unbapitized publisher , and she was almost in tears because of our icy reception. We have visited many halls,and have never felt that with any of the others. Good manners dictate when someone new comes to the hall, the friends take the initiative in making them feel welcome. I pray that no one has the experience that we had, especially newcomers. What attracted me to the truth was the love and the world wide brotherhood. Please do a better job of living God's word, and not just preaching God's word!
