Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses

Today, I went to leave my house in Taneytown, just before 10am. I had noticed earlier a vacant car parked across the street from my house in the community that I live in. As the garage door lifted, I saw 4 people now at this car. An elderly woman and man, the woman was getting into the front seat and an African American woman, behind the car (Honda CRV) spanking/hitting her little boy. It wasn't just one spank, she continued to beat his butt over and over, it must have been 6 to 10 times. It appeared that she wasn't teaching him a lesson, but letting her anger out on this poor boy instead. I was immediately made uncomfortable in my own driveway as I put my almost 2 year old in my car... hoping to block her view of this scene with my body. The elderly woman proceeded to get into the car and the elderly man turned and saw me watching this and came over inviting me to this church... Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness... as now, the woman is putting this kid into the backseat of the car. It almost seemed as if he wanted to redirect my attention away from what was happening behind the car. It doesn't bother me that she needed to correct the child's behavior, but it sincerely bothers me that in the middle of our community and attempting to represent your church, she held his one arm with hers and used her other hand to hit and hit and hit this poor boy. I felt so bad for him, whether his behavior needed to be corrected or not, I disagree this ever should have happened. NO, I don't think ill ever come visit your church, especially if this is how you go around town promoting yourselves.

Awesome public meeting place for learning about God's word, friendly, can't wait to visit the area again.

This is a wonderful place to learn what the bible really teaches. All lessons come from the bible.
