Mr. Kinney was quick to call me back and was very straight forward and honest. Legal team answered every email promptly and kept in touch through whole process. Outcome was better then expected and I did not have to travel from out of state for court. Would highly recommend!

I was driving from Oregon to Minnesota after spending a summer in Alaska and got pulled over in Rapid City for allegedly speeding after they followed me for over 3 miles. The officers had profiled me due to my long hair and Oregon plates and searched my car. I was charged with 2 felony possessions and 2 misdemeanor possessions. After calling a few different attorneys that operated in the area, I went with Matt Kinney. I got the best vibe from him, he had a lot of knowledge of my type of situation and even made himself available during off hours if needed. I had to show up for my first court appearance, but he was able to appear for me on subsequent appearances so I wouldn't have to make the 8 hour drive. After just 3 months he was able to get the felony charges dropped, so I just had to pay a fine. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

My husband recieved a Reckless Driving ticket in Sturgis around August 2017 Matthew Kinney assured us that he would get that DROPPED down to a NON MOVING VIOLATION He Lied we paid him 1,600.00 the whole time he said he would get it dropped he was lieing he never put any effort into our case until the last week of court then he settled for whatever ,,, he never put forth no effort in our case at all ,, would never BELIEVE anything he said he can do

I was traveling from Oregon to NC with my family. I was profiled for an out of state license plate and stopped in a snow storm. I had a small amount of medical cannabis and was arrested. I hired Kinney Law and could not be.happier with the outcome. This state trumps up some pretty serious charges and Kinney is a NORML approved attorney. He was confident and had much experience. He knew my judge and even played golf with him on occasion. He charged far less than many others I checked with and I never had to return to South Dakota.
