KISS Dog Training has been a life-saver for our family - Mike has the experience to evaluate what's going on and help you figure out the best solutions to any dog issues in your household. Nothing is fixed overnight, but the pre-KISS/post-KISS difference in our house is night and day. We were referred to KISS after adopting a seemingly well-adjusted puppy that turned out to have been neglected and through following Mike's recommendations, she's turned out to be an incredible dog. We've gone through both at-home training as well as KISS group classes at Great Plains SPCA and I would strongly recommend both. Mike's instructions have revolutionized the way that we deal with our dogs - he says he trains owners and not dogs and it works! Any training takes effort and repetition on the owners' part, but Mike lays out the steps so that they're easy to follow and each step builds on what was previously learned. He also offers helpful YouTube videos to refresh your memory on training tips between sessions/classes that were invaluable in us going, "now what exactly did he say about this?" My biggest regret is that we didn't go to Mike sooner - we waited until we were exasperated and could have saved ourselves weeks of frustration. The first call we made with our next dog was to get him into classes with Mike!

We purchased the puppy package when we first adopted our pup. Mike came out and went through all the training with us as well as shared videos. He also promptly answers all our questions via email as we continue to train. Our pup is now a year old and very well mannered. All his training, tips, and suggestions have paid off! I highly recommend his for any dog training!

My fiancé and I were newbie dog owners and needed a lot of help with training our 10 week old puppy. Having little knowledge on dog training, we knew we needed a trainer who could also train US and not just our puppy. A coworker referred Mike and we both can say it’s easily been the best money we’ve ever spent. Mike is the BEST and made it really simple for us to learn how to train our pup. We love Mike’s common sense approach to dog training. He is easy to work with and focuses on lifestyle goals with you and your pet. We have taken our dog through individual training and group training with Mike, and they are complementary experiences.

Mike came to our home and taught us how to start training our new pup, he showed us some techniques and strategies on teaching our pup how to sit, lay down, and other basic commands and they work great. Then he went into some things we never thought of. It was great and it pays off big time our pup Frank is now 7 months old and is almost 60 pounds and he is not a safe dog for anyone to be around but with other dogs and animals as well. We had not thought about safety but Mike did and we are so glad he did. Mike is a wealth of information and worth every dollar.

Mike is the Dog Whisper! My Daughter's have the best dogs ever, all 3 of them have gone through Mike's training. Both daughter's too! I would never have another dog that did not go through the training with Mike. Mike and I may not agree on one thing, I believe the dogs understand me when I talk to them. But really it's I understand them and their needs now! Yes he does have a great sense of humor!
