BUYER BEWARE. These people are not honest. They only deserve 1 star for friendliness. When we decided to allow this company to do our cabinets we were told the the products were coming from Texas and would be here in a week and install could be set and project completed in less that 3 weeks. So far from true. After 3 weeks cabinets were not even in yet. I called to find out what the hold up was and was told that some of my stuff was in but the delivery people forgot to take everything off the truck and they were having it shipped back, another 2 weeks. We had already paid more than half when we signed. When I tried to get them to take care of this matter they told me that I signed a COVID form stating they were not responsible for delays. When I went over the form it was clear that I was not to hold them responsible for delays due to COVID or acts of God. When I addressed this with the manager she stated that everything was late due to COVID. I disagreed because this was not an act of God, this was negligence. I explained to them even before I signed the contract that I needed cabinets in before I could put the floors down and that I didn't have a big time window and their dishonesty made my have to push back the other contractors that were working on my home and cancel my appliance delivery. All they had to do was be honest in the beginning and a lot of other things could have been avoided. This whole ordeal has cost me an additional $200 and now we cant get the appliances were first ordered because one of the items is no longer in stock. All because when we were told our cabinets would be installed within 3 weeks we believed them and scheduled everything else around that time frame. We were only able to change our appliance delivery date once, and when the cabinets still weren't ready we had to cancel. We were also going to have them remodel 3 of our bathrooms but after this we couldn't chance it. Also, the quality of work is not that good. There are some things that need to be repaired but it will not be worth the fight because we know that will not accept responsibility. We will never use them again and will never refer anyone to them. True case of buyer beware! Update! I wish I had taken the time to read the other reviews before doing business with this company, because it looks like there are a lot of similarities in the different experiences of the different customers. One other thing that seems consistent is the company sure has a way of turning it around on the customer, I guess they are never at fault. Even with my review they are still trying to blame COVID. Well I guess COVID was responsible for them forgetting to unload my merchandise off the truck which is what I was told happened to my items by their employee, which is what caused the delay, not delays due to low staffing or any of the other BS they keep trying to push. I also was only made aware of the delays when I called in, no one ever called me. Just apologize for your mistake and move on. Maybe people will respect that more, I know I would.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. My son had a great experience with them, so I also bought their cabinets, granite countertops, and sinks 2 years ago. The wood shrunk on a few cabinets at the seams on the door creating a gap. The manufacturer would not replace these obviously defective cabinets because the warranty expired. The owners of Kitchen Cabinet Discounters purchased replacements for me out of their own pocket. This is the type of customer service this company has. I highly recommend them, they take care of their customers!

SHADY SHADY SHADY BUSINESS!!! Initially, My husband and I was super excited to purchase our full vanity here. The sales guy seemed really nice and convinced me that maybe I was getting good quality as well. During the 1st vist things seemed great until he gave me the estimate run down for materials I picked out. My husband and I were ok with the price so he gave me this horribly typed paper with his hand writing of the amount and no details of price, item, and discount, like it was on his computer. I asked him for a print out copy of the detailed invoice on his computer to keep and THEN he starts acting different and gasping we aren't supposed to do that...., But then proceeds to say, but I'll give this to you. After that interaction it kind of felt like a red flag, but I thought well I already have the estimate in my hand now, what could go wrong... So there were a few estimates we had to wait for him to get back on regarding plumbing ect.. So we left. Fast foward a couple days later after getting the esimates and getting the total emailed to me right as I was pulling up to the store to see what the deal was. I walked in and had some more questions regarding the install. When we started talking about handles for the vanity the guy tells me randomly, mid conversation, the price for the vanity top just went up. I found that strange because he didn't check his computer during that conversation, he also emailed me the price overall again 2 minutes before I walked through the door, and I already had a copy of the quoted price for the materials as well. He blamed the manufacturer saying when the manufacturer raises the price usually they can't say no. I've been in sales long enough to know it was b.s, but i played along. Even if I wasn't in sales it still made no sense. So once we get back over to his computer to show me the new estimate I noticed that the price of the top was actually less than it was before by a few dollars however the so called 43% discount he gave me the 1st time was much lower. On his estimate it still said he gave me a 43% off discount, but the amount was significantly lower by hundreds of dollars. Now to remind you I have a copy of the estimate they supposedly aren't supposed to give you, so i know exactly what was there and discounted last time. So after all the shadiness I still tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and give him opportunity to fix it by saying "Oh you accidentally put the discount above the vanity top and that's why the price didn't come out the same." He started telling me "oh no we don't do discounts on the top." Also let me note my husband and I are young and I noticed discrimination throughout our meetings with this guy making assumptions as if we couldn't afford it. Although we were looking for a good deal we were willing to come out of pocket and already was splurging more with them than planned with other companies we had looked at. He literally must think Im stupid because every shady thing he did was Crystal Clear! So I told him and the lady who was next to him that I came all the way down here to purchase service with you for this project, but now I have to go talk to my husband because he's not going to be happy about the price randomly going up. Little did he know at this point it was a done deal and we will be taking our business elsewhere. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS!! I saw them and still gave them the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe the owners cared to train their staff better after noticing their replies to negative reviews, but it is clear that this situation continues with this business.
If I could leave 0 star I would. Everything that we have ordered from this company has been late, damaged, and mis counted. Their consultants are not experienced at all. It is a huge inconvenience to ever do business with this company. Their employee turnover rate is atrocious. Every time we call back we need a new point of contact because our previous rep quit. In regard to the constant mistakes and damaged goods the best answer they can give is “it was damaged by you” BLAMING THE CONSUMER! They will have you pay for the full order and then you will lose time and money going back and forth over damaged or miscounted goods. Completely unprofessional and unsat. No developer or family should ever do business here. They are discount cabinets, discount customer service, discount problem solvers they are a freaking joke.
Awful Awful company. If I could give them less than one star I would. These owners do not care about you or your satisfaction they care about your money. They sit back and let the rookies up front deal with the customers. All is great and professional until you give them your money and suddenly they do not seem to care anymore. Complete lack of communication from anyone within the company both internally and externally. You can call this company three different times, speak to three different people, and get three conflicting answers all within an hour. They set up a date to start the install over a month out. All seems well as we had heard nothing from them over the course of the next month and then the day before they were supposed to come out to install, we called just to make sure everything was okay only to find out that they were "really busy" and would not be starting on time. Throughout every other issue that we encountered they continued to point fingers about how it was our fault or the installers fault but never once could they admit it was their own. Ricky at the front desk is a nice guy but he is new and falls through on some things. Although he needs more training, overall he was polite and apoligetic. Gisseli, the other person at the desk, is awful and not friendly at all. She is so nice while giving you your quote, talking the company up about how great it will all look, right up until you give her your money and then she suddenly is rude and unfriendly even yelling on the phone about how it wasn't her problem how things did not work as planned. I could go on and on about how poorly this company is run but I will save you the reading. Overall an awful experience.
THIS COMPANY STOLE $250 FROM ME!!! So, two weeks ago my wife and I went to the Kitchen Cabinets Discounters at 4230 S Decatur Blvd… we were looking to remodel the whole house and we thought we might be able to have one stop deal for everything… That Saturday we spent several hours trying to match colors, cabinets builds and materials… We also spent some hours waiting for one of the owners to be available for pricing the only person there has the prices and also listening to the other owner’s stories of life and visions… Later on we were told we spent 6.5 hours in the store that day and that must come with a cost… !!!!???? that we have to pay… Not knowing at that point how this company conducts business, we paid the 70% required deposit and mutually agreed to have someone from the company come next Monday to verify my measurements, since they would be the ones installing the kitchen too. I have to mention that I had the kitchen design done, all cabinets sized, before we went there. The owner even said that he is sure I am an engineer after he looked over my drawings, because every detail was there. Well, Monday came and nobody bothered to contact us. Tuesday and Wednesday the same… Thursday afternoon I called because I was getting worried about their seriosity… They finally agreed to have someone come Friday to check the measurements. So Friday someone came and did the thing and also informed us that the kitchen cabinets we ordered are not available anymore, and they suggested and left us some other type of material. sample We spent the coming days back and forth to they store trying to find something that would work for us. When we couldn’t find anything appealing and we asked for our deposit back, they said they have TO CHARGE US $250 FOR THE DESIGN WHICH I DID 100% AND FOR THE TIME SPENT IN THE STORE. He said I spent 6.5 hours first Saturday and then each time I came throughout the next week to bring the samples back and he has it all on camera!!! Call it shady? I do… Especially since these “fees” were not disclosed upfront, and the paper they have stated something in this regard because they have a paper like is a legit activity… was covered by a bunch of other papers and pictures on their counter and it took them some time to find it. BOTTOM LINE, YOU GO THERE, YOU GET ROBBED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER! Once you pay them any money, they will come with any kind of excuses and shady reasoning to tap your pocket. THEY DID IT TO ME AND I SEE NO REASON NOT TO DO IT TO YOU!
One let's start off by saying the owner gave herself a 5 star review. Narcissist much??. Now, unto why I gave them a 1. Wednesday I went and met Dennis in front. Said he was the manager. Told me to come in on The next day. I admit I was late. But they said no problem. I met Riccardo who said he was the manager. After a half hour he said to schedule a free measuring of my house the following Tuesday. Tuesday comes around he's very late. I don't care about that at all to be honest. Thing's come up and he was busy. He said he would have everything ready by Thursday the latest. We showed up on Thursday. Everything was pretty much wrong. Measuring wasn't complete took the 3d designer spent 3 hours to come up with what we want. Also Riccardo had not giving the designer any of the correction notes or what exactly we wanted making it a longer process after many corrections. Now here's the problem I had. Pricing was changed dramatically and promises on pricing were way off. Ok..... next we asked if Riccardo can come to our house the following day to verify and finish the measurements. The 3d designer said the next day she will call and let us know what's going on. And the designer Did say for installation prices she had to call their guy Cesar to let us know. And that it would be around 7am according to her that's when Cesar would be able to answer the phone. So now the next day Friday comes around and no calls were made. We try calling out around 10 and 11am and the designer is said to come at 3pm. We call asking for Riccardo if he's still coming. He wasn't there according to dennis. We waited all day for him. And we finally called asking for the owner. The staff said he's not there. So I called asking for the manager. Everyone said no manager is available. After 10 minutes I had my wife call them. And bam Lana claimed she was the owner which then said what's your problem to my wife. Lana then berated my wife. Claiming that they spent over 24 hours on just helping my wife. I heard all this on speaker phone. And I have to say the attitude, the entitlement, and the crude words used made me change my mind in working with them. Every time a schedule was made they fell through, no humblenessor respect. Just watch out for yourself . And remember the owner gave herself a 5 star review with nothing to even write about. We were about to spend a lot of money with redesigning the entire house little by little.
I ordered 3 pieces of granite slabs from them, so the nightmares begins....the installers brought the stones to my house and started the installation when I was not home. After I got home, their installers suddenly stopped the job and told me they got a problem there that they did not have the same matching stones. I really appreciate the installers honesty, but not the owner. The owner came over to check right away, and no apology or so whatever, and insisted they were the same. I called friends, other professional installers to come over and check it out, everyone told me they were totally different stones. I went to different stores trying to learn the differences between the same stone, but I just could not find any same type of stone could be that big of different. I even offered to buy more piece to match what i got, trying to make things work, but in their mind, it seems the best just accept the fact there is no mistakes made, just accept the fact which is ok the same stone suppose to look that different. Very frustrated experience. Now i have a disfunction kitchen for 2 weeks, mismatched stones, and no one wanna take the responsibilities. I wish i had gone to other shops where you actually can see the stones before you purchase them. Worst shopping experience ever. Next....dispute...court...a lot of hassles for me but i just don't want to be forced to take other peoples mistakes.... a lesson for you all....I told the owner i was gonna post a bad review, he said go ahead and he could say things worse about me. Its so funny that you can tell his customer service skills, i m just a customer, and it is his business, whose loss here at this point.... thanks for reading, if anyone knows where else i could report this to to get my problem solved, please let me know.
Worst company do not purchase anything i did my purchase 1 year ago on Feb 2021 and still waiting for them to finish installing my crown molding I have called text and I always get the excuse that they don't have enough workers on vacation or emergency happen and not able to come install so frustrating they give me dates and no show the worst never will I buy from this company again take your money somewhere else
