Kitchen Witch Cookbook

Very cute store with lots of cookbooks. It's very cluttered and, while there is some organization, the sections aren't marked in any way. The owner is very nice and helpful, but if you're not looking for something specific, browsing is a little tricky. However, you will find all sorts of cookbooks there that you've never seen before.

I love the KW! The owners are super personable, knowledgeable, and the 'hosts with the most'. KW hosts food- and cookbook-related events which are invariably fun and I meet interesting people there. The book selection is near encyclopedic.And the shop is decorated within an inch of its life. What's not to love about this place?

Cute family owned place that has monthly events with vegan offerings. Has hard to find cookbooks as well as local spice mixes. Can easily spend hours checking out their out-of-print or 1st edition cookbooks in multiple languages. Love all their various knick knacks and personal touches everywhere. Owner is very friendly and answers all questions. This place is definitely a highlight to Bayou Road. Support small businesses by starting with this one.

Love this place!!! Debbie and Philipe are such warm and friendly people. The spice mixes are top notch plus the variety of cookbooks is like none other. Debbie painstakingly keeps the shop neat and organized with all books in their own areas for easy of exploring. There are many other items for sale as well, professional knifes, plates, glasses for all occasions, and cookware. They B2B with Seasoned experienced cookware.

Best selection of books around. Being a foodie from New Orleans and a fine dining server there for 14 years, I know a thing or two about good food. Been cooking vegan meals for wife and got hooked up with great recipes here.
