Klean Krewe Housekeeping

I am a very picky person, so if you are reading this review, I never write reviews until pretty upset about any service given. We hired the Klean Krewe after having one bad experience in Mandeville already with a cleaning crew. The Klean Krewe has been cleaning our home every 2 weeks for about 3 months approximately. After the first time, I was very impressed and happy. They charged me 150 dollars for a full cleaning which included all major cleaning and then dusting of fans, blinds, etc. They charged a regular cleaning fee of 90 dollars for our home which included just the major cleaning. We rotated between the 2 types of service given since I didn't mind doing the dusting. After the first few times, the individuals who cleaned our home must have been in a huge hurry, they put the chemicals in the toilet and then never cleaned it. Since they came at 9 a.m. in the morning, the chemicals sat in the toilet all day until I returned home from work having to scrub the toilet myself. I was upset but decided to let it go. I then called around Christmas time of 2014 and spoke with the husband of the Klean Krewe and asked if I could stop by and visit their corporate office and pick up a copy of their insurance policy agreement. He told me that they were in the middle of moving and that I could not stop by. I told him that would be okay and if they could please mail me a copy of the insurance agreement and I would be happy with that. Needless to say, I never received a copy of the agreement. Any house cleaning company is a huge risk for many people, it is also very nerve racking when you have never met them or can even visit a corporate office to ensure the security and honesty of your home and belongings. Another time shortly after the first incident, I came home to find that the cleaning pads for the stove was left open, I had left a note to please use those pads for cleaning our ceramic top stove so that it would not get scratched. Well, with the package being left open, the cleaning pads had surely dried out and were no longer good and had to be thrown away. From that point forward, I decided to just leave a note asking them to use a soft towel and wipe it down gently instead. A few times after that, another incident occurred with the guest bathroom. I came home to find that the individuals who cleaned this time had not scrubbed the bottom of the shower and yellow/gold residue was still left to be clean, I had to once again scrub it myself. Today, March 11, 2015, I had a scheduled cleaning for 9 a.m., however, they did not inform me that they would be coming at a later time. That was not a big deal until I came home to find that I paid for a full cleaning and the for the first time, neither of the beds were made, the kitchen table did not appear to be clean or reset, dusting did not appear to be done, I am not even real sure if they mopped a whole lot. It looked as though for once again they were in a huge hurry and could not complete the job. I am seeking for another maid service that I hope can do a better job.
