Amazing customer service and great quality instruments. I was brand new to the cello, and Jim was incredibly kind and helpful. He only keeps high quality instruments in store, but there are still reasonably priced options to choose from. I only have good things to say about my experience at Knapp Music!
They repaired a 100 year old violin for us. Good small business customer service . Family owned. Only one in Hendricks County to my knowledge. Affordable and nice people. And quality work as far as my novice eye can yell. The gentleman has about 50 years of experience. Thanks.
Personable and willing to teach are what you appreciate when you step in the shop... Knowledgeable and skillful are what help you enjoy your new or repaired instrument when you return home. If it seems like a long drive... it is worth it.

Jim was incredibly kind and helpful. I received a violin for Christmas even though I know nothing about music. Jim was able to walk me through tuning it, the stings I needed, and other small repairs that needed to be done. He has a cavernous knowledge of instruments. I will definitely be going back for anything I need!
