Hidden on the second floor of a university building. The portions are huge. My burger had toasted buns and lots of grilled onions, and a quarter of a pickle separarely. A half order of fries is already plenty and comes with a Chipotle style sauce. Comes with a Rice Krispy treat. When ordering a sandwich meal, it comes with a cookie. I tried the coffee here and it is decent for $4. They have an espresso machine and plenty of syrups to choose from. There are several small tables to eat at that has views into the courtyard.
Just started working up the street and decided to try this place out after reading through a few reviews. I wasn’t expecting anything out of this world, I just figured it would be an average place to grab a quick lunch. I ordered the 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich combo- Greek salad and chipotle pulled pork wrap. Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with my meal! I have never IN MY ENTIRE LIFE ordered food that contained such a large quantity of onion. In all my years of eating out I have never had an issue with onion being used in such abundance like a main ingredient, not a garnish. Additionally, the food was to be expected. Both items were lacking in flavor in my opinion. The portions were definitely the highlight. Very good portions, especially for the price. My order was also ready for curbside pickup at the specified time and I didn’t have to wait around as is common with other places. I probably won’t come back but if I do, I’ll be sure to specify NO ONIONS.
Their best “hot sub” came loaded with a pile of freezing cold lettuce on it and hardly any meat. The cold lettuce made the meat quite cold as well. The Buffalo chicken wrap was better but the chicken had a funky taste. Also, way too expensive. Average place, at best.
I really like this place! I come here occasionally on my lunch break and they always do a great job getting my order ready quickly. The service is good and I know I can depend on them. They have a great menu that includes a variety of vegetarian options. The black bean burger is delicious. They've even got smoothies!
The food was yummy. I had the Southwestern Wrap. The chipotle aioli and fresh cut fries are out of this world. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back to try more menu items.
This used to be a good place to get a sandwitch for lunch, but today my wife and I got 2 sorry excuses for sandwiches. My sandwich was the godfatha, and it is supposed to have pastrami, but only came with ham and other deli meats with the plasticy casing still on that I had to pick out of my teeth and sandwich and zero pastrami. My wife ordered a pulled pork sanwich and was given some crapy vegan pesto sandwich with zero pulled pork. The location is also vey difficult to get to when you have a car to park. Save yourself the trouble and go to Caputo's deli and get a real quality sandwich with quality ingredients. I will not be going back to knickerbockers...
The Reuben is my favorite…so good. Plus free cookies, quick and friendly service, this place rocks!
Wow. Hidden gem. Would recommend
Had the worst Italian sub. Such a sloppy Sandwhich that was almost too messy to eat and they put mayonnaise on it although the menu indicates that only stoneground mustard is what comes on it with other veggies. I threw the atrocity away. I do not recommend this place. Ever.
Was referred here by a coworker. Tried the monster breakfast burrito, and two smoothies. They have a huge selection for anyone! Monster burrito was seasoned fantastically, insides were mixed really well, it was nice and hot off the grill. Smoothies were so yummy!
