I had been looking for a reputable cosmetic dentist in the Birmingham area as my dentist had retired. To begin my search I used good old google and typed in top rated cosmetic dentistry in Birmingham and Koch Aesthetic Dentistry happened to pop up first. I immediately was drawn to his website, Dr. Koch’s bio and his reviews. I kept his name in the back of my mind and a few days later looked up Koch Aesthetic Dentistry on Facebook, liked his page and saw that he was doing free video consultations. I made a video, uploaded it and from there my journey began. Step by step he transformed my life in a 6 month period. I say journey because it is one from start to finish, as Dr. Koch takes you through each step. I have never worked with a more caring staff who made you feel comfortable and welcome. I opted for the conscious sedation for the placement of your temporaries and your finished veneers. I highly recommend this where you basically sleep during the procedures and have no memory of it. Dr. Koch is so kind, caring and never grew tired of the many questions I asked. I never felt rushed or like a number and that meant so much. Cosmetic dental work is expensive but as a 58 almost 59 year old mother of 4, and “Lovey” of 2, I am so glad I made the decision to invest in myself. Dr. Koch is the best of the best and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Many thanks to you Doctor Koch and your entire staff. Dr. Koch and his team provided a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, it felt warm and inviting. I was greeted and taken to my room where I sat on a tempurpedic topped chair, a very nice touch. My dental assistant was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was explained to me, probably because I like to know. I met with Dr. Koch after my consult who spent the time to talk about the details of my bite, effects on my teeth and options. Very informative and explained in a way that makes sense. We discussed a treatment plan and next steps. It really is a best in class experience.

I’ve been a very happy patient of Dr. Koch since April 2019. I am beyond grateful for him and his incredible staff! Like many of us, it was important to me that my smile look as natural as my emotions. My natural teeth formed with very small laterals and canines so as a teen they were bonded to give a better appearance. When I was 30 years old, the bonding needed to be replaced and a dentist I saw at the time recommended veneers. He also suggested I veneer my front teeth. I now know that in the right hands I would have been happy with the outcome, but in the wrong hands I spent 10 years hesitant to smile and had a number of other complications due to 3 rounds of ill-fitted veneers and jaw issues - until I met Dr. Koch. He took on a patient that was traumatized by previous dental experiences. He always intently listens to my concerns and solves each one with patience and care. Trust is hard to earn when you’ve been through my experiences, but Dr. Koch always takes his time, listens to me and won me over with each step throughout the last few years. I now feel more confident than ever with my smile - thanks to Dr. Koch! If you’re looking for someone who spends the time to listen and cares about great outcomes, he’s your guy.
